The delusion in this place is unreal
What's unreal, is your insistence on visiting a forum where your sole purpose seems to be digging out fellow fans.
You obviously have a bit of a thing for Spurs fans, so why do u even come on here?...it's quite fucking odd in all honesty.

It does always make me giggle when someone with a different opinion is always considered/called "deluded" or "clueless" etc.

Must be great to know absolutely everything and always be right.

What the club oughta do is go over the 9 games we've lost under Señor Dean with a fine-tooth comb and demonstrate precisely how utterly incompetent- or just downright against us- Dean really is. Seriously- losing 9 of 15 matches with him in charge is beyond questionable- it's highway robbery. If one of Poch's assistants pours over- and then specifically details- various mis-called play by play(s) by Mr. Dean (thereby detailing what a horror show the guy is)- well, then something might actually get done.

Still can't get over 9 effing losses; sorry, but that just straight-up suggests that what we're dealing with is a ref with an agenda...

So yeah- hopefully we do this the right way- slowly, methodically and with utmost attention to detail- so that this fucking chump ends up calling non-League matches.
If there’s any justice in the world, they’ll simply just award us the league.

I hadn’t realised Dean was from the Wirral.

Curiouser and curiouser...:cautious:

The reality is that he’s not biased and he is impartial, he’s just a bad referee who loves the limelight, like Paul Durkin, Uriah Rennie and Chris Foy.

Don't actually think so. He probably was impartial at some point, but after appearing to celebrate not only one but to Tottenham goals (however much he in fact did not celebrate), I believe he went on a quest to appear impartial, to such a degree that he is in fact partial.

Interesting that Mike Dean, from the Wirral, has only ever refereed 2 Liverpool Premier League games

I wonder why that would be for Mike Dean from the Wirral

I’m on here because I’m a Spurs fan, I’d have thought that was pretty obvious. And I’m not digging out fellow fans, I’m digging out stupidity. We didn’t lose on Saturday because of Mike Dean, and no he doesn’t have an agenda to make us lose every time he officiated our games, so why the fuck do we have a 15-page thread dedicated to him on a Spurs forum? THAT’S odd.

If it were just this Mike Dean thing, then I wouldn’t be going so hard, but almost every time I log in here there’s a new reason why everyone hates us and the odds are all so irrevocably stacked against us. Anyone that expresses a criticism about us either hates us or is stupid and doesn’t understand the unique set of circumstances that means normal rules don’t apply to us, and anyone that praises us is obviously fair and speaks the truth. This is all so unbelievably delusional. Get mad at me by all means, but it won’t make any of this nonsense even a little bit more true.

Nobody has said we did. What you’re arguing against is non-existent. Every single person blames us for the defeat, but it doesn’t change the fact the guy is a massive ****.

You are correct in your assertion that Dean did not cost us the game our failure to deal with the opposition yet again and not being able to string a few passes together was the main reasons

Every club has fans that subscribe to the 'everyone hates us/conspiracy to hold us back' theory...thats just how some minds work.
Expecting everyone to be level headed, reasonable and objective is just as delusional imo.

A touchline ban for Poch sounds over the top to me. It will probably be against arsenal too. Mind you, with Jesus in charge of subs maybe we might make a couple earlier than usual!

At least the fuss over this should ensure Dean doesn’t get our games for a while now with any luck.

No official from the Wirral should ever handle a game involving Liverpool or Everton. Even if they don't support the Reds or Toffees themselves, they'll know plenty of people who do, as it's probably next to impossible not to know any LFC or EFC fans if you live there. The same goes (or should go) for officials from places like Altrincham handling games involving either Manc club, such as that semi with United that was mentioned earlier in this thread. In fact, there should be a rule that all officials live a minimum distance from each club playing in any game that they handle, on top of the obvious rule that they don't (or shouldn't) support either team playing.
