Because the world cup players were allowed their 3 week holiday following their exit meaning they started training late. We are note unique look at Arsenal and their Germans or even Paulinho. We have a big squad, why rush him?
But he's just a keeper. How much fitness do they actually need?

You can sign a player if injured it just gets reflected in the price/insurance paid on player.

That being said I am sure vorm is fine he just has his own fitness programme which ends this week.

My medical opinion on swansea is that whoever felt fabianski is a better keeper than vorm has had or is in the process of having a lobotomy.

We play with a sweeper keeper so fitness is important as if you are slow out of the blocks you get caught in no man's land. Maybe it's a "Luke Shaw" situation where he arrived and wasn't a fit as we wanted so he has been put on an intensive training schedule.

If I don't see his name on that bloody subs list on Saturday, I'll be bloody pissed off I tell you. Injured, only excuse.

He wasn't mentioned in the pre matchday injury roundup that was published yesterday or the day before, was it? They said nothing new except Soldado out and Walker recovering otherwise all fit.

HAHA - Could you imagine players of eras gone by, taking this bloody long after a Word Cup to get back to 'fitness'! They must laugh! Vorm is perfectly fit, just not in the eyes of some sport scientist. What a joke it is.

Like I said before maybe it's down to poch? Maybe he isn't happy with Vorms condition at present.
That changes nothing for me. That just mean that Poch himself is the sports scientist that I referred to earlier. Vorm is obviously bloody fit, because he's not injured, based on the fact that no report has come through that he is injured. He's not been available not because he's not fit, but because of some stupid modern day scientific bullshit fitness regime which has deemed him 0.1 seconds too slow on the final stage of the beep test. Players and coaches of eras gone would be in stitches laughing. Bring back fu*king Harry.

I don't doubt that players of older generations would find it strange but I'm not sure why you are so adverse to sports science. I'm sure if Lloris got injured training Vorm would appear but since there is no immediate pressing need for him why not take the time to get him as fit as the coach wants?

Well I didn't say "strange" but of course they wouldn't find it strange, they're use to all that now. But that won't stop them from laughing.

I'm not adverse to it, I think it's great, but not when it comes to stopping a perfectly fit player from doing what they're paid to do.

Because a 0.1-seconds-too-slow Vorm is better than a 100 year old Friedel.

'This Boy's Life' is the heartbreakingly poignant drama about a boy named Chris and his inability to comprehend all things football related.

Based on a true story starring Haley Joel Osment.
Interesting how you get that from me questioning how a player can't sit on a bench after all that time back at training.

Perhaps he's not playing well in training at the moment and Brad has been picked ahead of him.
