Will share what I put in the ITK thread:

I watched a fair bit of Lacroix a couple of seasons ago when he was very good. He's more of a RCB, could potentially play CCB in a back 3. Pretty quick and good on the ball but not amazing aerially.

His form has dropped off a cliff the past season or so and I don't know why. I haven't watched him in recent times but I'm not sure I'd sign him at the moment. Bringing in a young CB who has lost form and putting him in to our unstable defensive environment is a recipe for disaster.

If we get him I can't wait for the pundits' pronounciations of his name. It's super easy actually, but they'll fuck it up nevertheless.

Bit of a unit who’s good on the ball. Not sure how he’s developed more recently tho. Deffo CCB or RCB with Cuti moving centrally?

The lad clearly has something and huge potential. Hopefully putting him in the back line playing in PL will give him and us a boost

I agree with the consensus, I don't see him as the answer for our problems right now. Very much a gamble. NDicka would be a much better option.

I'd be most interested in seeing how he is in a back 3. From what I can see is that Wolfsburg usually play in a back 4. As others have said it seems he's gone off the boil, where 2 seasons ago everyone wanted him, and he's sort of stalled development wise.

If you're looking at the pure paper numbers though, he almost seems on par with Gvardiol and has higher stats in terms of blocks, clearances, and Aerials won per 90 ?

Could he be an option as a back up to Romero?
Or cover across more of the back line?

While we (IMO) need at least 1 starting defender in this window, Conte has mentioned a core group of players with youngsters making up his squad.

We aint solving our problems in January we'll still have many more to address in the summer but if we can get this kid now it will be an upgrade on what we have, then get a more experienced leader to play alongside Lacroix and Romero with Porro Udogie with new keeper behind next season is a shitload better than what we have now

Could be that we realise our LCB targets are still not currently available, and this would still help us out, especially if we were able to move Sanchez on.

Agreed. The kicker is that Sanchez's contract has 1 year left this Summer (I'm sure there may be an option as most players have). But can we get someone in now that can challenge Dier and cover for Romero while moving on or making some money on Sanchez?

I also saw Tosin Adarabioyo is available, he's another one (HG) that I can see helping us now and becoming an improved squad player for the future.

My only question would be why not Ndicka instead? Other than that he can’t be worse than our current options so get one of the two in.

Know nothing about him, but can he be any worse than our current lot?
Hope it's not another "opportunistic cheapo" buys and more a stellar young talent buy, extremely difficult to have faith with the club at the minute.

Tosin is one to keep an eye on imo.

we need a new starting CB to replace Dier but not challenge, apart from Romero all of our CBs should be replaced
