Aaron’s will be a top signing hope we get him ! In fact I’d go for him and Lewis in a double bid

Hmm.

First-time poster makes daring proposal for Spurs to throw big money in the direction of Norwich City.

Anyone else thinking JME-9 can knock up a decent carbonara and is prone to shouting 'let's be 'avin you'?

Those who are watching Championship - Aarons 18/19 or Bogle 19/20?
Looks like he's the most popular alternative for people who doesn't rate Aarons
Bogle for me. I think he has better attributes but just didn't play in a team that were as suited to his attacking style like Norwich are for Aarons.

He's taller and stronger, got excellent technique and loves to run at defenders. The defensive aspect will need work but Walker was hardly the greatest defender but his athleticism meant he could recover. I think we need to get back to full backs who can suffocate their opposing side.

Aurier isn't the best at attacking defenders, Bogle will fix that. And you can't underestimate how much that plays on a defenders mindset - they don't want to attack too much knowing they'll get exposed.

I just don’t get the Aarons hype. Extremely small. Not that great defensively. Honestly not sure he’s any better than KWP.

If only we had an actual scouting department that could uncover good players in other leagues.

Extremely small? As someone that is 5'7" I find this highly offensive....?

and he can’t defend!

Neither of these two are andy Robertson who’d been a standout for Hull before they went down. Theyre getting relegated with a poor Norwich team for a reason.
Andy Robertson was standout? How?

This is awful (and I think worse than Aarons this season). They also condeded more goals

Aarons you really just have to trust your scouting because it's impossible with how bad Norwich are at defending to say the talent level of their players. Similar with Sess. You have to say we've scouted this player, believe in his profile, and he's HG which fits a club objective. Whether he makes it or not is anyone's guess. I liked him in the Championship but he definitely seems to be struggling with the step up to the PL but so is all of Norwich bar maybe Cantwell and Buendia.

I think Aarons would be good as a backup - would prefer Castagne to start at RB. However, if we're going English then Bogle is the preference.

There must be something in English fullbacks having the biggest profitability over the long term - they must improve and hold their value better than any other sort of player... (null and void if a player mouths off to the press every week... ;)).

I use my eyes not stats. I suspect Aurier or sissoko look good on that thing.

I thought I wanted Aarons for the longest time but now Im not so sure. The right back I really want is Mukiele at Leipzig. Rapid, atheltic, can attack and defend. Think he ticks all of the boxes

Like this strategy, buy up some of the RB Leipzig team so Nagelsmann can come here and know exactly what he’s working with.

Castagne looks quite interesting, not least because he can (allegedly) play both sides. I'm not a big fan of Aarons though and think he's gone backwards this season.

Yeah Leipzig will be excited to sell us a great prospect for a cut price.
That aside currently it would be a stepdown for Mukiele.

It's so depressing reading the transfer rumours section nowadays :(. We're not even linked to anybody who might actually make a difference. I've watched a fair bit of Norwich this season and Aarons really hasn't impressed me at all. Apart from Cantwell they are all Championship level.

That’s why good scouts are like gold dust.
We’ve scouted Aaron’s when he was tearing up the championship, and waited until we’d seen him in the premier league to get a better idea. Which looks to have backfired because he’s struggled. You could blame it on their wide- open style, but individually he hasn’t stood out at all.
But would bogle fare any better in the prem? Again, hard to say.
Castagne maybe a safer bet, but only because of his CL experience.
One thing is for sure, we’re going to have to trust our scouts judgement because we can’t stick with what we’ve got.
Whilst we were investing in the bricks and mortar, Levy should have also invested in the Scouting dept to ensure more transfers were successful than not. Just like Dortmund and Atletico, that’s what keeps a club of our stature moving forward

I’d rather just switch the dynamic and try Sessegnon as the attacking left back and Tanganga as the defensive right back than shell out on Aarons.

Or just buy fullbacks that can defend and attack like other teams do. I’m not convinced these lopsided tactics are doing much use.
