Amazing what can be achieved with some straight talk rather than talking in riddles.

I think Ange has Levy convinced we could have a proper go at the league with everyone coming back.

The big man can smell what's cooking and he's sent the little man a taster.

Without that unfortunate period in November to December we would actually be running away right now

You say that, but when the Aardvark is hungry it smells the earth not the food.

If I could pick a managers perfect mindset it would be Ange.

Strong and positive and balanced, plans ahead but also stays in the moment and is willing to adapt.

Even just take how he answers the leading Q about Werner not doing well at Chelsea or scoring a lot of offside goals there, he says essentially that isn’t relevant and what is relevant are the current circumstances and I just think it’s such a refreshing attitude.

Interesting stuff comes at 17:00 when the Romanina journo asks questions. It's where Ange begins to smile and enjoy himself rather than going througt the motion s of standard Qs. Needless to say, the Romanian focussed on Radu.

For better or worse it's pretty clear he doesn't see the kids as ready to start at CB when he said he has been working with 'zero centrebacks' available..

He is just such a decent human being. The way Ange handled the Romanian journalist was just so great to see. He asked the sort of questions that many managers would have given short change to, but Ange appreciated the distance the guy had travelled to be there and showed real empathy.

exactly, came here to say something along these lines. there wasn't a single ounce of condescendence or pity in his reaction to the obvious struggles of the journalist in question. just patience to navigate through that moment and some very clear, light answers. top bloke.

I have a solution but you might not be on board with it

Divorce her and re-marry after we win the league

Found this on twitter lol

Found an Australian to English dictionary giving this explanation for the term "falconed"

falcon

being hit in the face (more accurately the forehead) with a ball in a ball sport: Barry was "falconed"

Contributor's comments: It originally referred to the Rugby League player Mario Fenech who was famously struck in the face by a ball. Mario is of Maltese extraction...thence Maltese Falcon after the film...thence Falcon.

Editor's comments: Mario Fenech is nicknamed "the Maltese Falcon", or simply "the Falcon".

Contributor's comments: An accidental headbutt of a football (usually in the face) in a game of Rugby League: "Tuqiri pouncing on a loose ball, which had bounced off the head of Tate into open spaces. It was another piece of luck for the big winger and the incident will no doubt be a contender for "falcon-of-the-year"."

Contributor's comments: Definately a common word with football.

Interesting fact about Dragusin. He qualifies as under 21 for the rest of this season. He was 21 in Feb 2023 so on the date that matters, Jan 1 2023 he was under 21.

Ange’s embargoed quotes released and he absolutely secretly believes we are still in with a shout of winning this thing this year and why not hey!

Ange saying today in the presser “we are in the title race until we are not in it” and “why not believe we can win it, why limit ourselves or have fear of what we can achieve”. (Paraphrasing a bit)

Whether it’s this season or next or whenever, I think Ange will win us something big and his quotes will go down in Spurs history just like Bill Nic’s etc. He’s weaving himself into the fabric of our great club and I absolutely love it.

The man is a genuine No Bullshit Zone, so, so refreshing to hear no nonsense answers instead of the entitled BS from the (2) usual suspects! Such a breath of fresh air (y)
