Whether it’s this season or next or whenever, I think Ange will win us something big and his quotes will go down in Spurs history just like Bill Nic’s etc. He’s weaving himself into the fabric of our great club and I absolutely love it.

Kind of but the big teams were all WAY off it that season whereas this season they’re just a bit under par but still putting up pretty strong points totals.

That being said Ten Haag started off ok at Man.U, won them a trophy and got them back in the FA Cup but some of his man management has been questionable and he’s had the off field stuff to deal with but Ange had a far harder gig than Ten Haag did.

Let's face it, a lot of our fans were underwhelmed by the appointment. Many wanted Nagelsmann and flipped out when we walked away (myself included). We had a split view on Slot but he was still preferred over Ange by many. Personally I had no idea about Ange so just tried to wait and see how he did first as its all you can do. Some of our best managers are typically ones who never did anything special previously. He has done an amazing job so far but he'll be the first to say it's early days and there's still lots of work to do. It's funny because he has me feeling we should challenge for the title already so every game is feeling like a must win to me. Its great to have that ambition again though.

That's a really weird take, the writer is so bitter in this article.

It seems like he's looking for an angle to criticise Ange and shows clear bias against him.

Not the first for a Guardian article as well, I remember one when Mourhino was at spurs and it was just a hate piece against Jose and had nothing to do with the football at the time.

I'm going to wildly generalise here but there are quite a few writers that just want to follow their bias rather than be subjective (their job btw). I remember listening to the guardian weekly podcast where one of the guys went on a rant about Bielsa and how he was the manager of the year at Leeds, it was bizarre. It's ok to have that opinion but to be so die hard in your views is not really the job of a journalist imo.

Just taking Ally Gold as an example, he is obvious spurs through and through and has his opinions, but he's always very subjective with them. That's how journalism should be.

I don't even mind strong opinions, they actually make things more interesting but they have to be based on something, the writer of this article seems to just dislike Ange full stop.
