Just wondering if anyone has been able to view their loyalty points yet? I was a little late in renewing and am now worried I have lost all my points. Just checked now and waiting list update is there, but no mention of loyalty points (even though the link references that hey should be there)?

The whole ticket side of the website has an air of Beta about it at the moment. Also, has anyone had their membership pack through yet? Are we going to have to use our stadium access cards for the third year in a row? Mine is getting properly gnarly now!

No membership pack yet, and yes, you have to use the same card again this season! It's £10 for a replacement!

I've upgraded to Gold since 3 years ago. Still gotta use my Silver card. Gimme a new card you shits! This is more important than a new striker!

Bloody hell, my barcode is barely recognisable these days. It took me ages to get into the ground on the last game of the season, because matey's zapper couldn't read it; which is no good when you're rushing in from the Bell and Hare half cut with 30 seconds till kick off! Why did they print them using crayons?!

You might have to pay up then and get a new one! It's very tight of them though I reckon, making people use their old cards again!

Good afternoon xxxx,

I have viewed both accounts and can confirm that the deductions that have been made in accordance with the new changes to the loyalty point system are correct. Any Loyalty Points that you accrued prior to the 08/09 season have been deducted from your account.

Information relating to the changes were updated on our website during the renewal period. Please click on the following link to our website for full details and refer to points 16 and 17: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/Membership/membership-FAQs.page?

The changes to the system were not a decision taken rashly or without due consideration, but one that has been discussed for a number of seasons. We needed to ensure that any scheme reflects and rewards those supporters who regularly attend home and away matches-and without altering the system, we had created one whereby some people who had gained a large number of points in the early years yet may no longer attend many matches, were able to pick and choose the more attractive away games to attend. It could be argued that these supporters have already been rewarded by being able to attend you Arsenal Away and your Cup Semi Finals in the seasons that the points were earned. The old system was resulting in a “closed shop” where other fans were never being given the opportunity to attend matches despite having attending a large number of games over the past five seasons-in effect, they would never be able to “catch up” point wise. Fans, who have regularly continued to attend matches in the same period, will still find themselves towards the top of the Loyalty Point tree and will not notice any significant impact on their ability to qualify for away tickets or Semi Final Tickets.

We do accept that there is no such thing as a perfect Loyalty Point system as the concept is purely subjective to your own personal view-we believe that we have introduced the fairest method of distributing away tickets, retaining the principle that those that attend more matches will be more likely to be successful in ticket applications, all the whilst encouraging new fans to attend matches away from the Lane.

As an aide to supporters wishing to apply for away matches, and to assess the potential for their access to tickets, we will be publishing a Loyalty Point Table on the website within the next few days. There will be separate tables for Season Tickets Holders and Bronze and Lilywhite Members; they will show how many supporters there are in different loyalty point brackets-I would advise you to check the online table once it’s available for you to view.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us expressing your views.
