They are getting a right kicking from Jim White and Danny Murphy right now...dildo bros have been asked to come on and speak about it but they've refused.

All laughing and joking aside it sounds bloody terrifying, especially for the parents with young kids who were caught up in it.

Beware what you wish for. Bearing in mind the dubious political connections of the Dildo Twins, I'd expect that the taxpayer would still end up paying the full cost of demolition and rebuilding!
I didn't say I wished for it and I have no doubt we will end up paying somewhere along the line.

It is - but then you have to question why as a parent you would take kids to that game in the first place. Of course taking your kid to a football match shouldn't be an issue and you should never be put in that position - but unfortunately at the moment it is. Show some common sense, especially the Chelsea fan who took his little girl and then complained that they were caught up in the disruption

Is it not time to do something about this? I mean it is funny that its West Ham, but innocent people, a lot of children, are now getting hurt and its just not right. It's taking English football back decades and we will start getting the name "Hooligan" mentioned towards us as a nation again, and yet nothing is happening?

I think that it is total negligence that the FA have sat around and not intervened so far. West Ham should have been severely punished by now & given an ultimatum that any more trouble then their games should be behind closed doors for the foreseeable future. If, once reopened, they still cannot control their neanderthal fan base then they should have the book thrown at them and have massive point deductions. One sure way of stopping this is imposing a limit on the amount of fans, reopen with a capacity of say 10,000, then gradually increase based on behaviour of fans.

There are ex-West Ham players lining up to absolve the club of any blame - the only people to blame are West Ham. They can cite the behaviour of Chelsea fans all they want, but this has happened at every game they've played in that stadium. Tony Gale talking out of his arse as usual saying the ground is too big to police - Man Utd police 76,000 every other weekend with no issues. We had just under 90,000 at Wembley with no issues.

All the comments are conveniently forgetting how West Ham fans smashed up Man Utd's coach last season. This isn't unexpected behaviour from West Ham fans. Everyone knew this would happen yet the club have done nothing to stop it beyond banning a couple of people and making empty comments about how they don't condone it. The only way to ensure it won't happen again is to play matches in an empty stadium. Start with three games behind closed doors. The next time there's crowd trouble, another four games behind closed doors and a three point deduction.

Greg Dyke was on SSN earlier. They asked him what he'd do if he was still chairman. His response?

"Nothing."

Well therein is the problem, the FA is run by crooks who all just want that extra bit of money in a brown envelope to make all the problems go away!

How can he say that? The "Football Association" is meant to be controlling all matters relating to Professional to Amateur football, including safety of supporters! He is a creepy weirdo anyway to be honest so it doesn't surprise me that he said that!

Agree, they struggled to keep a lid on Upton Park! Another thing is that all these seats that are getting ripped up etc etc is all going to be repaired at the tax payers expense so the dildo brothers really don't care I would imagine!

Problem is you've got the West Ham marketing machine saying bring your kids, bring grandad, bring everyone you've ever met, as they're struggling to even get close to filling it up, then you've got your common sense saying fuck that for a laugh.

Exactly, they head a West Ham steward on TS earlier who blamed the violence on the fact it was a cup match and people who wouldn't normally go went and started trouble....completely ignoring the fact there's been trouble there on at least two other occasions this season which were premier league games.

I know we laugh and joke about both West Ham and Chelsea fans being fairly hindered on the evolution scale but if you are a parent and can be convinced to take your young child to a game that is fully expecting crowd trouble - and sit yourself anywhere near the area where said trouble is at its most prominent then you are quite frankly a moron, despite what West Ham's PR team is churning out.

Not nice when kids are involved though.

To be honest after everything that had been happening at that stadium this season there would have been no way I would have taken a child to that game.
It's sad state of affairs but its true that some games are not for taking kids to and this was one of them.
Many years ago I went with an uncle to see S****horpe v Hull and he wouldn't take his kid (who went to all home games with him) as he knew there was the possibility of aggro. As it was the match passed with out incident. Last night it was guaranteed that there would be violence.
Why risk taking a kid? Good luck trying to get her to want to go to another game for a while.

Funny how it's a "minority" of fans yet they've been banning them for years and there's still trouble every week. It will take a stabbing or even worse, a death before the FA takes any meaningful action against them.

Any truth to the story that the new west ham mob will be calling themselves the "Inter Section Firm" due to the distances they have to travel inside the stadium to have a punch up?

Some home fans from the opposite side of the stadium charged around to the away section to get involved, they are still on their way.

Not mine, shamelessly stolen, but funny
