5 defeats in 10 home games in all competitions this season is bad enough. But when you look at the wins and consider that the win vs a much changed Palace team in the EFL Cup was the only win which was remotely comfortable, it somehow looks even worse for Utd. They are broken.
They have a lot of key injuries in defence. But the rest of the side doesn’t function either. He’s not getting the best out of people like Fernandez, who he’s playing out of position on the right. Or Rashford who’s form has dropped off a cliff.

There’s no real pattern to how they play and they don’t look like they have a plan. He’s been in charge a year and it’s hard to see what style of play they are going for.

This could be the game where the place gets mega toxic like ours did under Nuno.
Their fans have been banging on about getting Amrabat and Casemiro in the team and they have been totally atrocious.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Ten Hag gone after this.

I really hope they at least wait until the next international break to get rid of Ten Hag, because I want to see this lot get beaten at Old Trafford by Luton.

Can’t see it happening yet. The whole club seems rudderless right now, who’s going to sack him? Who’s even in charge?

Nothing will happen until this business with Radcliffe is done. Which is great because they’ll just drift until then 😂

I’m amazed their plastic fans haven’t all left yet.
As much as I now despise Newcastle this is absolutely glorious, oh how the mighty have fallen!
Is it wrong that I was actually excited earlier about watching how bad they were going to be tonight?🤣

There's an attendance curve where when a team has a few bad games the fans leave earlier but the more games they lose the more stay to give the players and the owners shit. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a protest after the game, some banner or a sit in of "Glazers Out"

Wouldn't blame them one bit.

That’s what I was thinking. He’s safe because there’s nobody to actually sack him 😂😂😂

The Norwich scarves will be out soon!

If the next game is v Luton that’s often the best type of game for a new manager. They need to start with a win and this would be the best chance. Assuming of course the Glazers have had the feelers out for the replacement.
On the other hand it might be the time for Eric to offer an olive branch to Sanxhi, recall him and get the team spirit lifted. But he is famously Dutch and unlikely to do such a thing.

You do wonder if the heavy-handed approach with Sancho has played into this absolute lack of being willing to do anything for this bloke. It's like watching end-of-days Conte Tottenham. The players have given up playing for him entirely. Shit football. Stupid team selections. Alienating squad members. None of it helps motivate, and if he's trying to go about it from here by trying to wield a stick rather than a carrot to a squad in this state...it's only going one way.

Better than Ten Hag. Cant blame the Glazers for the mess of that team. Manager chops & changes every game yet at the same time, is stubborn as hell. He forced some horrible signings & plays players out of position. None of that is the fault of the Glazers. No matter how shit the mood around the place is because of them. Ten Hag makes it worse because he has no idea what he is doing & worst of all, forces the club into some horrible decision making with transfers & also squad decisions with problem childs that no doubt makes employees very angry(see Greenwood almost returning & immediately bringing back Antony).

Phil Neville is available.

Ten Hag is now starting to enter AVB territory.

A coach who had a team on the continent playing brilliantly and beating teams with style. Players looking exciting too.

Winning everything and lauded as next big thing.

Decent first year in PL and looked like they were onto something (AVB with us not Chelsea.)

Horrendous second season. Regularly getting thrashed and looking like a rabbit in headlights. Lacking any inspiration in interviews and the team completely devoid of any confidence. Made a mess of all new transfers.

Yep.

Running out of excuses.

The injuries were a big excuse.

Then it was if they can get Amrabat in.

Then Antony issue.

Then LB injuries.

Some of these have been resolved but it looks like the rot has well and truly set.

Fake injuries are a common phenomenon when players don’t like the manager.

With AVB, we lost 2 in our first 10 league games, ETH has lost 5 (8 in all comps). In fact, when AVB was sacked after 16 games, we had only lost 5 (in all comps).

They are much worse than we were with AVB.
