Agreed, he caused them a lot of problems. Him out for 8 weeks is going to be very tough fro Liverpool. Im glad he's out when we play them

Sounds like matip and TAA are out for a couple of weeks too. Probably back for us unfortunately (I think matip is massively under rated) but they’ll struggle without those two for sure.

So Marca are saying Mbappe wants out ASAP but PSG would only consider selling him to Liverpool and will not accept any offer from Real Madrid.

Let's just hope this doesn't happen.

Zero chance they could afford him. his wages are astronomical,

He’s so rattled by everything at the moment. Be interesting to see what he’s like ‘if’ City give them a spanking at the weekend.

It's incredible how early in a season Klopp can lose his head with reporters if things aren't going Liverpool's way. I can remember him giving an interview after a game (against Brighton I think) early in the 2020/21 season when he basically blamed Des Kelly for injuring all his players.

But that's not possible.
Of course it’s not, but to get into the mind of them watch the Clive Woodward doc and how he revolutionised rugby by controlling every single aspect possible and going into such detail to eek out every single 0.01% improvement. Same with the go cycling team and how they did the same.

All top managers are. It’s why they’re top, as you need to control everything to get every possible advantage in a game of small margins.
Yes but not all managers are as arrogant and classless as Klopp - he is an absolute prick.

It still annoys me slightly that he was bombed out if football so readily. Obviously it was because he was from another sport and there was an arrogance around that. If it happened now I wonder if attitudes would be different. Probably not.

I think he comes across here - as he does often - as an arrogant, horrible prick.
He comes across as a petty little bully when he’s like this. There’s no need for him to have spoken to the reporter like that. It’s done nothing but highlight the fact he’s touchy about the poor form they are in.
