Chelsea fans despise everyone because they despise themselves.
It's their only redeemable quality.

That's so deep I got the bends reading itChelsea fans despise everyone because they despise themselves.
They must be laughing their tits off. They 100% would have got rid. He was hated by their fans and the League Cup final debacle should have been seen as the end.
They've now spent the last few weeks pretending he wouldn't have got the sack so they can get money for him going, rather than paying him money.
Chelsea looking to about Lampard reeks of desperation, along the vein of United hiring OGS and Monaco hiring Henry.
Sarri is a strange one, in one season he
- Gets them back in the CL by finishing 3rd
- Wins a European trophy
- Gets to domestic final
- Bloods quite a few young English players
- Still despised by the fans
Jorginho has already gone on record saying it would be a betrayal (to Napoli fans, but still) if Sarri leaves. I'm sure he'll take it well. And how will Jorginho cope??
They'll just have to hand it straight to Derby won't they ??For once Chelsea actually gonna get compensation for a boss rather than having to pay it lol.
Wonder if they’d have got rid if he didn’t want to leave as Chelsea fans didn’t seem too keen I feel...
I also suspect the 'friendship' with Terry is not as strong as the media would have you believe....I think Drogba would be an excellent partner choice too. They really are going to give it to Lampard aren’t they?
Another “proper football man”. Sky will love this, unfortunately it means more of his mate Terry on tv I suspect. Interesting he doesn’t want him back at Chelsea though with him. He probably knows he will always be looking over his shoulder if he does, Terry would do anything to be Chelsea manager I suspect.
Think Drogba would be a terrible choice.I think Drogba would be an excellent partner choice too.
My assessment was of him as a potential coach....he's another massive Chelsea hero and I think he'd have a positive response from the squad....totally agree with your appraisal of him as a player though.Think Drogba would be a terrible choice.
Tough to know what he’d be like as a coach but as a player he was an impressive physical presence in the big games but drifted out of the lesser games far too often.
Was typical of the Chelsea ‘1 season on 2 seasons off style’
This seems way too early in his managerial career. I know he'll have the fans and players on his side, but it's a risky move for him. Probably a good appointment from Chelsea's perspective if they intend to promote some of the youth team this year as he'll bring Morris with him.

They're running out of famous names now though!I would consider Frank Lampard (if appointed) as very much an interim manager. The Russian owner sees next season as being used to eat up the transfer ban and Frank is put in to please the fans and keep them sweet.
If Lampard does well he stays (well is top four)...if not he walks and another famous name comes in.
