its starting to get on my absolute nerves that all pundits are saying they are playing this amazing football?!

They are a long ball team it's not entertaining sorry I may sound like a footballing purist but I find them awful to watch!

Also Vardy....is it just me that actually thinks he's not that good at all?

I really think they are just getting the tub of the green so much it's getting infuriating

Lost respect for them when we played them and you get to see them and their xxxxy fans up close.

They're scavengers - sit, sit, sit....long ball, rage attack, nick a goal...sit, sit, sit, sit etc.

Effective and can't take that away from them as they play to their strengths and are organised and work amazingly hard, but they can still fuck off. Annoying the fuck out of me now.

This is exactly how I feel sadly I have have to watch there last 5-6 games!

And every game has been the same its effective yes but the media are wanking over it but when pulis was doing it at Stoke it was the death of football!

I think at the start of the season they were playing better football and it's understandable that given their position and now that teams are aware of them as a threat that they have changed tact to become more solid. Its good management really.

That said I don't like watching it and I'm sure we will still finish above them.

As for Vardy he is this generations Kevin Phillips, a good striker having the season of his life. Can't see him moving to any of the "big boys". Mahrez is the talent.

Fully agree with this bit....I ve been lambasted for calling West Ham lucky in another thread, according to some posters there's no such thing as luck, and others believe you make your own luck, which is just bollocks IMO.
What I noticed watching them last night was that almost everything went their way (apart from the penalty miss, which was dubious anyway)...every time there was a 50/50 challenge where the ball could go anywhere, it invariably fell to a Leicester player, then there was the Robert Huth elbow smash, which the ref ignored.
Even though they beat us, they are dropping points now, and with still 16 matches to play I don't think they'll even get top 4.

Leicester have had such a fantastic season. I have to say their football is very direct and they are quite physical but it works for them. Their fans are dicks though.

Vardy is having a one off season and it will be interesting to see if the second half of the season goes as well as the first - personally i don't think so.

I like Ranieri - I think he is a very astute man. Should be manager of the season imo.

I haven't really watched them much this season but in their games against us I haven't been impressed. Also Vardy against us was nothing special. If it's true that Liverpool are willing to offer £25 million for him then I'd snap their hands off.

Liverpool did spend actual money on an Andy Carroll who had played a decent half season for Newcastle so I wouldn't put it past them to offer a way OTT fee for Vardy.

The way the commentators were on about them last night you would have thought they playing tiki-taka football, in a stadium resembling the colosseum and were carrying on manfully after losing their entire team in a munich style air disaster.

They play shit football, they play to not concede, they have barely touched the ball in the 3 games we have played them this year and they have managed to mug us off somehow.

Sorry I cant say I hate them, fair play to them, sitting second in the table, on a shoe string budget picking up points well. They are doing what they have to do and doing it well. They have been entertaining at times this season when they have their first team out.

Look at Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United all teams who had/have big name managers but are sitting in league places that dont reflect the money that has been spent on the players. I wish more teams would do what they do, they are very well organsied, every one of their players gives 100% and Ranieri is setting them up well. If you think Liester play shit football I suggest you rewatch the Man U v Liverpool game where players simply couldn't pass the ball to each other.

So Vardy, IMO he has got the attribues needed to succeed, hes very quick, he is very aware of whats going on around him, good positioning works hard and can finish. No I dont think he will get his move to a "big" club but when you look at the big names such as Soldado, Falcao who couldnt quite make it happen here and look at the Firmino and Benteke lately I think if I had to choose I would take Vardy for the rest of the season without question.

I have more respect for a manager who uses wha he has effectively than a manager who tries to fit a system that is not suited to his players.

They are good at what they do, which is 'smash and grab' football. It works as long as they can convert a high percentage of chances. I think their luck will change. I like Ranieri a lot though (always did) and would love him to finish above Chelsea.

It's called Catenaccio, Italian football is built on it, and Ranieri has them playing it superbly. Fair ply to them. But their fans seem like a right 'orrible lot.

It's a bit churlish to have a go at them to be honest.

They are mixing it with the best teams in the league and deserving to do so, whatever their style of football is.

They are a welcome breath of fresh air to the top of the table, and you don't get to where they have by pure luck.

The BBC love-in for them last night was ludicrous, and I agree they aren't easy on the eye to watch, but they are doing what they have to and doing it very well. Fair play to them really.

Their next 4 fixtures are Stoke, Liverpool, City and Arsenal. They've proved me and many others wrong before, but i can't see them getting more than 3 points from those.

They're not really on a tight budget, they spent loads of money to get out of the championship and have spent a fair bit of money in the premier league (their owners are very wealthy).

I don't begrudge them the plaudits of what they are achieving (so far) I object to the bollox said and printed about them. Let's not talk about how good they are for the league, do we want a whole league of dull defensive teams? And just because there are other teams that are also playing the same turgid risk averse football it doesn't make it ok.... Even if those teams happen to be Man U.

I can't understand how this style of "hoof it and hope" football has won them so many games. It's not like we haven't seen the similar thing from West Ham and Stoke among others. Shit football, and I fully expect them to start losing more and more games.

I know it wasn't their first team, but you got to wonder if our cup tie win has rattled them.
It was pretty comprehensive.
Of course they asked the same question of us, but we seem to have bounced back.

It would be shame if their season falls apart, but they have a tough run of games, and their belief might be faltering now.
