Where would he play him in a 343?It baffles me to this day how Conte didn’t want Maddison.
Simply can’t get my head around it.

Howd you feel now ?Feel that this second half of the season momentum will continue.
Since the return of the PL, post World Cup, Leicester’s home PL results
26 Dec 22: vs Newcastle (lost 0-3), interestingly Newcastle have only scored 2 PL goal since Boxing Day!
3 Jan 23: vs Fulham (lost 0-1)
21 Jan 23: vs Brighton (drew 2-2)
Leicester’s last PL home win was on 20 October vs Leeds (2-0).
Going for Spurs to win 3-1 with Kane x2 and Son.
I know right, I am not predicting results ever again! Always need to remember one step forward and three steps back with this team. Expectations reset again: the Kane record vs City had me dreaming again.Howd you feel now ?
Well for me all the Leicester goals were precision shots, perfectly delivered, so jury still out imo.Luckily missed the game yesterday but I hear Bentancur looks like he has a serious injury? That will completely screw our season. Also, I hear Frazer was terrible?
This is the only way with the current set of players, push up and attack, we’ll get exposed but we have the quality up top to do more damage to most teams in the league. At this moment I just want to see us play football on the front foot.
It's so blatantly obvious we don't have the players to play on the back foot that any team with half decent passing and movement can drag our defender out of position that the best way to avoid it is to counter press and don't allow the opposition even a split second to get their head up and pick a pass.
Yeah one good performance in 10 is what we need and what makes a quality centre half, the dogs on the street know our centre half's are way below the quality required.Yes our cbs could improve BUT did you watch the Man City game
I read this a lot on here. Yes at times, but not these times. This is the only way with the current set of players, push up and attack, we’ll get exposed but we have the quality up top to do more damage to most teams in the league.

We have to think that’s potentially to do with the tactics though, whenever we’ve been forced to attack due to poor first halves (sitting back and still conceding)it has worked out pretty well. Doesnt hurt to try a change of tactics, especially in the Premier League.I read this a lot on here. Yes at times, but not these times.
Kulu and Son are in abject form, often unable to trap a simple pass .Currently we have a weak forward line , even Kane loses heart with the other two unable to contribute.

I don’t really agree with this. Under Conte we have looked best when, like last weekend, we’re in that rigid tight 5-4-1 shape. Get in behind the ball, minimal space between the lines, one strong unit that protects individuals, will drop deep and soak pressure but selectively push up and press when opportune, and counter-punching and attacking space when we can.
Even in our best spell last season this was the template. We’d be defensively solid, often get ahead in games, and then expertly picked the opposition off as a) it opened up and then b) they got demoralised and started to fall apart and give up when well behind.
The problem is that we’re only seeing this concerted disciplined focused effort in the odd game, and anything else we’re trying to do is badly failing. I’m not sure if it’s because they’re deemed “easier” games/opposition where you feel obliged to be a bit more front foot/proactive/whatever, and obviously some games against obviously weaker teams will be roles reversed, but we’re just chaotic in most of these games now. We don’t all get in behind the ball, there’s massive space between the lines. Players don’t want to work as hard. We get overloaded and outnumbered. The system gets exposed, if not completely falls apart. And it’s the same pattern over and over.
In most games the attackers put in zero effort defensively, so the ball progresses past them. You then have two central midfielders isolated, and any remotely competent play should be able to bypass them. Our wingbacks seem more and more to be caught ahead of the play. And so then we get to the opposition going at our central defenders.
We all know our centre back options aren’t the best, they have glaring faults between them, but you could line up with eg. the prime versions of Nesta-Baresi-Maldini as our back three – if the opposition is effortlessly and endlessly working the ball into areas where they’re then going at your exposed defence, you’re going to get mistakes, concede goals, and lose football matches whoever you have playing there.
Tldr: Sitting back and counter-punching isn’t my ideal of football, I am dead against it in fact, but it isn’t the problem. When we’re disciplined about it (usually only in the bigger matches now) we on the whole do it pretty well. It’s that the vast majority of the time this season, when we "loosen up" and do it differently, we offer absolutely nothing and are a tactical mess. And that's not to mention that you’re never getting counter press highline football with the likes of Son, Kane, Kulu, Perisic, Davies, Dier, etc.......
Yeah - you’re dead right, it is conditional. It’s conditional on Conte being given the proper tools by the owners to actually win some stuff. That’s what Conte demands. And for that reason alone, AC will continue to get my backing. I hope he is given another couple of seasons at least because if he stays on then that means that Levy will have backed him. I don’t want to return to the days of Pooch or any other ‘Yes man’ manager happy to pick up his wages whilst failing to be backed by the owners. Conte has the balls to hold Levy to account and will hang him out to dry if he doesn’t get the players required. It’s evident to a blind man that Dier, Davies, Sanchez, Tanganga are no where near good enough and should have been upgraded a long time ago now. No manager would be successful with these players in their starting 11.Why should we be bothered about someone who doesnt really give a damn about the job and is quite conditional on him staying. Its conditional isnt it - its absurd. This is why some want Poch back, someone who has an emotional attachment to the club, which he clearly has. We all need to have that connection again with the club, right now, we dont.
It was so bad; so bad I feel it has to be tactical. It's the kind of positioning I feel like I would be doing, it was that odd.Watching the highlights I’d say Dier’s awful positioning was culpable for goals 2, 3, & 4.
I also reckon Hugo probably saves those three goals too.
