The coaching team need to get the messaging and coaching to the player back to the very basics. Today the players look completely lost and in part that is done to the coach.

We've done fuck all to deserve anything since they equalised. It feels like we could've played for another hour and not scored. Absolutley woeful, especially in contrast with what we saw a week ago. Putting in an absolute shocker a week after an outstanding performance is very Tottenham though. Be easy to name individuals (Peresic, Porro, Dier, Sonny, Kulu) but they were as a team, fucking horrendous. With the injury to Bentancur, not sure that could have gone any worse. Typical fucking Spurs.

Yes we have some shit players.

But even the most basic of basic such as pass and move we don't do when we have the ball. It's pass and stand still.

Movement for the player on the ball is dreadful too. The man on the ball should always have at least two passing options and if he doesn't then his teammates need to be moving into positions where he does. Instead it's a lot of standing around waiting for something to happen.

Passing and moving requires players to have a good touch, the ability to carry the ball away from press players with short bursts of speed/agility and to have a picture of what’s around them before they receive the ball. From that starting 11 today Tanganga, Dier, Davies, Hojbjerg and Perisic are all unable to do these things. If you play pass and move football you need at least 80% of your players to be good on the ball, probably even higher than that even. I’ll fucking die on this hill, the problem is not the manager, it is the players
