I can’t help but shake the feeling that many of you duped me with your excitement at signing Perisic.
Set-piece merchant.

He’s our very own Rory Delap. Expert at one very specific thing, dogshit everywhere else.

Kostic would’ve been a considerably better signing.

If we can't afford to buy an upgrade on this bunch, then somebody's seriously f*cked up with our finances
chelsea get creative with the books to spend more on the team, we get creative with the books to spend less on the team, property depreciation etc

He is but collectively it's such a bad back 4 and he has still struggled that side (as has Porro to be fair)

He has struggled in certain areas because of Porro IMO, but we can’t expect him to be in two places at once. I do agree though, collectively he can’t carry the defence on his own.

So what's the difference from last week's performance? How are we so so poor? Maybe Lloris Cuti missing??

I just can't understand the team selection. I know Porro will be good but Leicester actually play attacking football with good forwards - if any game we needed Emerson to start it was this one.

The back 5 which was so solid and disciplined last week is absolutely all over the shop today.

Have to say, I don't think Porro should have been thrown in today.

That defence behind him is not helping someone settle.

Every one of of fucking defenders are trained to back off. They never tackle. Our whole fucking team never tackles or press. Bunch of softies. Son, Perisic, Dier, Davies. Fuck sake.
Aside from Romero you're right they're fucking cream-puff wimps to a man.

Corners aside Perisic has been an absolutely dreadful signing. Our whole left side has been abject all season.

Its been done to death but no other club that is serious starts that defence. They might have played well last week but you cant get consistency out of these lot.

We genuinely need four out and four in at one fucking position. Nothing less than negligence from the board to allow the ranks of our CBs to decline to such an abysmal state. Levy’s head should roll.

What do we expect with players like Davies, Dier, Tanganga and Forster playing. This lot aren't even good enough for the Championship

Our defensive options are absolutely terrible but you cannot tell me there are not worst defences in the premier League. What on earth is happening in training for us to be this consistently bad?

Not many to be honest, it's comparable with Southampton's. Everton are stronger. Don't even know who play for Bournemouth if im honest.
