If we are going to get rid of Conte, please not Poch.

If we are going to start again, it has to be with someone totally fresh.

Oddly - we were so bad today, I am not even upset. Its more comical than it is disappointing.
Leicester, as a team, were much better than us today. And that's football really; for every winner there's a loser.

Taking it too seriously can ruin your whole weekend. Look on the bright side and we can still make top 4 and have two big Cup competitions to play for.

And sometimes you gotta remember it's just a game.

My brother 'died' for 15-20 seconds just ten days ago right next to me. Today he's home and, albeit very frail, getting on with life. We all want Tottenham to win every week but just remember to enjoy (the rest of) your life guys!

Toby & Jan would struggle in this system because our midfield is so easy to bypass. Our two get torn to pieces by the oppos 3 time and time again. The 3 central defenders are sitting ducks whoever they are.
They might struggle, I’m not a fan of the tactics Conte plays but we would still beat teams like Leicester with more competent back line.

Well a lot of people would take top 4 and UCL final playing that shit, especially after not even signing players for 3 windows.

Conte has told since day 1 no chance of UCL. We not good enough. So why the fcuk did we hire him? We would never sign his players. Jose said he could get more out of Pochs players - that was a load of bollocks. So did Poch massively over achieve with those same players?

Poch was shit once he started approaching games like a Conte or Jose - being pragmatic. His teams strength was their pressing and wanting to overload attack. He doesn't need to sign the best players in the world, just players young enough to work hard and to step up and challenge to get in first team. It also didn't help he lost Dembele and Eriksen at the same time, one literally and one mentally checked out. Funny enough, Klopp now going through the same at Liverpool.

The only thing I want from our new manager is to fcuking coach his players and play football.
"Klopp now going through the same at Liverpool"

I'd take Klopp's failing's a hundred fucking times over Poch's success to be fair mate.

Was watching Conte on the line today - he looks like a man that needs a break from football… numerous close friends passing; surgery; spurs….. I’d like to think Potter will be sacked & we’ll wait for him. Alternatively the lure of Poch - no doubt - is on Levy’s horizon… just rather fatigued by the ongoing ‘ almost beens’… I’m always sucked back in by my beloved Tottenham out of loyalty; but todays display was so overtly apathetic that I’d almost welcome any change… Saturday evening reveries…

turned off when we went 4-1 down...

turned back on when I saw the goal was disallowed.

turned off when we went 4-1 down again....

watched Brentford see out a draw at Arsenal. At least that was fun
The only silver-like cloud today ..

Egads man! Why would you want that? He is the epitome of a mid-table squad manager. Brighton have gotten better without him, and Chelsea have gotten worse with him.

If Leeds con hold out a little be longer - that is his level.

?… funny. I’ve just responded to another post of yours… I think Potter is the guru… but as I typed my initial post my sentiments of Brighton were questioned given their current rise. Truth be told I ‘think I know more about football than I really do’. I’m too much of a romantic ?

Ugh, didn't see that coming. It's hard to think this side is building towards anything. I try to err on the side of Conte coming good, but he makes it so difficult. We're going nowhere this season, and if he leaves after that hell be a footnote and I'll be glad that we move on.

It beggars belief that that was so casual in its lameness after the intensity of last week. What a shower of shite.

The initial minutes were decent, then we scored a fluke. And then the key moments were a complete drop in our intensity in possession. Aimlessly and slowly playing safe passes until we fell into a trap and gifted them goals. Unreal to see that. Why we can't just play on the front foot is beyond me. Its tactical and its fucking annoying.

Our defence is so bad. But when you look at Leicester defence - it’s no better. You wouldn’t want one of them either. Just shows how poor we were overall.

Vs City our team got tight and tackled the instant the ball reached an oppo player --we win.

Vs Leicester, we often stood off -- we lose .The team bar Bents just not in for that level of effort.

We’ve put in one decent performance all season and that’s no exaggeration. That was last week when, as you rightly say, we were at it and aggressive. We also tried something different tactically which worked really well.
I saw in the week that Stellini took credit for that idea (along with Mason) which is utterly astounding. We’re paying huge money for what everyone tells me is an elite coach but his number 2 actually found something that worked.

Yes we’ve got some/plenty of players that aren’t good enough for a top side but I’m sorry, he’s nowhere near good enough himself right now. And by right now I mean all season.

Underestimating the opponent it seems to me. If so, they are definitely casting their eyes on the bigger CL game next week. Have no idea on what rights they have to be complacent sometimes.

On a human level, I feel hugely for Conte as he has had a really shit year. You wouldn’t wish what he’s been through on anyone and he looks broken.

On a football level, watching that abject shit in the first half and then sending the exact same players out again (and even then, waiting another 20 minutes after that to make a change) is just inexcusable, for me. It’s not like it was a month ago where we had nothing at all on the bench. There were a lot of options open to him but he did nothing. The players let him down, yes - it’s been a while since we’ve had a game where literally everyone was shit at the same time - but to do nothing to change it was criminal. It’s the strongest I’ve felt that his time with us is coming to an end.

That brief period of optimism, since the awful feeling leaving the stadium against Arsenal, feels like it’s ended after today. No idea now how this end of season run-in will go. Still all to play for, but if we play like that then we might as well not bother.
