I suppose it’s pragmatic to assume you have to pay for a week’s total Liberty to rest players with three first teamers tonight, rather than hope to get lucky with two full second strings.

Kane and Vinicius are unavailable, so whom would you nominate to complete the front three?
Dele and if there are personal reasons for not starting him then he shouldn’t be on the bench and I would go with Clarke, Lask looked very weak last time out and I would be very confident with Jack starting alongside Bale and Lucas and that middle three.

Winks and Dele have a lot to do just to make it into the matchday 18 at the weekend as it was.

Pretty obvious we'll be listening to offers come the window.

I though Dele did enough last week to warrant another start.

During Dec & Jan, more rotation will be required than we've seen thus far so personally I'd have started him & Winks tonight to keep them/get them sharp. If we pick up 3 or 4 knocks at once, we'll need them for Premier League squads.

I really like the way Mourinho approached the games even against lower oppositions. Still start with the strongest team we have and get the job done ASAP then sub the players off. We wouldn't have done that with Poch - where under unfortunate circumstances we then bring in the best players, making them play unnecessarily and sometimes too late to even save anything from the game.

If he’s not match fit after the amount of games we’ve played so far will he ever be?!?! ?

He's not far off, I'm hearing from a couple of places that the way he plays so low to the ground that we will never get 90minutes out of him.

He did seem a lot more at home last week playing in the deeper position though.

He's surely due a 25 yard screamer at this point.
He looks like he's enrolled at the Harry Kane School of Terrible Free Kicks since he's been back. He needs to smash one home, get it out of his system.
