It was billed as the worst Clasico ever but I'm quite enjoying it. Dest looks excellent.

Looks like a fantastic signing for 20m. Ajax have sold some great talents over the last couple of years: De Ligt, Frenkie de Jong, Ziyech, Van de Beek, Dest etc.

Although they’re in a bit of a mess at the moment and in a bit of a transition. I think the future is looking ok for Barcelona.

Fati, Dest, Pedri are so ridiculously good youngsters. Add De Jong, Lenglet who are in their early 20s. Starting to look like a pretty bright future.

la liga seems to be in a state of fluctuation just like the premier league. Be interesting if one of the smaller sides can emerge a make the title their own this year.

They really need to replace Busquets whose legs have completely gone.

They could do with a world-class striker like Kane. :ninja:

The amount of runs that fati makes that his teammates completely ignore is incredible. How is a 17 yo the second best barca player. Not a knock, he’s amazing, but it’s crazy saying that a teenager is getting no help in el clasico.

Hojbjerg is actually better than Busquets anno 2020.
The quicker Barca push the old guard out the better. Only Messi is still at a high level, Pique and Busquets are well short these days.

Their recruitment these last five years has been tragic but I still think in De Jong and Fati they have two huge stars to build their squad around. Hopefully (for them) under a new President and sporting leadership.

Wow what a performance from mendy; like prime Roberto Carlos. He’s gonna own that spot for at least 2 years. No way anyone could possibly be bought to replace this fantastic player, best full back of all time imo. Zidane masterful surely untouchable for at least two years. There’s no way he’ll want to buy anyone to challenge mendy.

If you feel bad for Barca spare a thought for VVV-Venlo... they had Kum sent off and lost 13 nil at home to Ajax lol

Lacina Traore 5 goals and 4 assists

I know he's a dick but Sergio Ramos has a serious case to be considered the greatest defender of all time. The only thing holding him back is his disciplinary record, in every other area he is right up there. The perfect central defender.

I swear every week I glance at a Betis result they've had a player sent off.

Mad game in Valencia. Valencia now 4-1 up against Real Madrid. Soler with a hattrick on penalties.
