Puyol, effenberg, seedorf.
All good but I never saw them as being on the level of other European elite players of the time.
I honestly can't get on board with Seedorf not being good. As Spurrific's just said, he was never seen as the best of the best, but I think he was an absolutely fantastic player. Judging from the many charity games in which he's participated since his retirement, he hasn't lost an ounce of his ability.
Ronaldinho.
Well, I do see it with him - but I don't think he should be mentioned in the same breath as Zidane, R9, Messi, CR7 tbh.

Raul - played for Real Madrid for 16 years and as a result broke a lot of records. But if many others were at such an elite club for such a long time they'd have destroyed Raul's record. He wasn't a bad player but not a true great and it's no coincidence that Spain were nothing special while he played for them.
He was also exceptional for Schalke though.
Partially agree, partially don't understand why this would come as any kind of surprise to people just going round disliking every name. Its hardly going to be a list of shit players, considering they wouldn't be rated highly in the first place.Yeah man a lot of you need to have a fucking word with yourself.

Ronaldinho was the best player in the world for a time, no doubt about that.I said I saw "it" with Ronaldinho, but that he didn't belong with the other players. He was undoubtedly up there, but just outside the top tier I'd say.
Tbf, he's the original YouTube pundit babe. Those that didn't have the true eye for a footballer raved about him and his stepovers, whilst purists such as myself knew that Zidane and Ronaldo were the best.
