I think I would rather see him get game time in the PL, but if he is happy at Rennes and getting game time again then it's still a good loan.

It went nuclear with speculation that he wanted to come back but at the same time there was interest in him and some personal issues so it was understandable if he felt a bit lonely out there but FairPlay to him he’s stuck at it, if the interest in the permanent deal comes back I would still expect him to ask to return
