If he's going on loan he'll want to ensure game time with the world cup coming up so Rennes could be a very suitable choice for him.

I would prefer him to go on loan. I see more about him than Tanganga. He should get a Premier league loan though. Feel he is good enough for a bottom half club already.

I think he would if he got to play in the PL each week at another club on loan to get some regular game time and experience, so I'm surprised he's going to a lesser league like the French league.

It just feels to me that the people who coach him can see he has quality. Would have personally liked to see how he progressed after a full season and then decide. If he had a good season on loan we would get 17/18 million anyway

I highly doubt Rennes will buy at 20m unless he absolutely bosses it and they think they can double or treble on their purchase soon after.

i think he’s a Premiership football but not in a top 4 club or one who wants to push for the title. The last seasons have been a waste for him when he needed to be playing 40 games a season.
