Hard to get overly excited about bringing in Jesse Lingard to help make up the difference after who we played today.
Failed utd player who had his moment in the sun with West ham. How is this guy supposed to kick us on!? So underwhelming.
It's a low bar though. Lingard hasn't done enough in his career to convince me he's the answer, but what do I know? If the boss thinks he can do a job for him then fair enough. I'd love nothing more than if he came here and smashed it. I guess what I'm trying to say, for me it's very underwhelmingBy not being Dele, Ndombele or Lo Celso?
He may not tickle everyone's pickle but there can be little argument against the fact that he's shown more in the last 6 months than any of those 3 have shown us simple fuckwits on here.
I just see him as someone we will all be moaning about, probably within a year of him signing for us.

I don't see any prem teams wanting to do Newcastle. What would United gain from loaning out Lingard for the last few months of his contract before he can then leave on a free? They might as well keep him in their squad for rotation. This would be so stupid from United. If Newcastle go down it buys two/three more years before they spend their way into the top 4 battle. Why help them stay up?
