It actually scares me that some people rate Jenas. If he's the sort of average mediocrity you want at our club then all the best to you.

totally agree with you it scares the shit out of me how little some posters understand about football on this site........I mean some on here actually think Lennon has a final ball....I know really scary

So your opinion is gospel is it? Because others think JJ offers something to the side but you think he is rubbish then they must be wrong.

you are so predictable

I actually think the only reason you post on this site is so that you have a floor with which to either lick bentley's backside or castigate lennon.

(well, you also have a go at several other players, but lennon mostly)

there could be an article on this site about how gomes looks constantly constipated, and you'd find a way to use that as a way to either bumlick bentley or deride lennon.

I bet that if somehow Lennon ended this season as our top goalscorer, assister and with the highest tackle completion rate, you'd still find a way to have a go at him. Likewise, Bentley could score 3 own goals, injure Ledley and Woodgate at the same time in a training ground accident, burn the spurs shirt in front of a pack WHL at half time against Arsenal, and take a dump on an old lady in the front row of the family section of the ground, and you'd still find no fault with him

if we're looking at going eventually where we want to be, then jenas still has a role to play, maybe as a squad member, but this chopping and changing and replacement of players (rather than addition) can only take us forward so far, we need a decent squad and he would be a part of that whether or not he's first choice week in week out... if he wanted to leave because of that its a different matter but i dont see that selling him would do anything other than weaken us at the moment

my point was that most fans that go week in week out know what a liability jenas
is
i know for a fact that however bad jenas played he had to start when he was fit as he had a clause in his first contract with us when he first signed ... i knwo this as im friends with our ex assistant managers son.

the guy just aint good enough to play for us
he cant pass , cant tackle ... but he has a good work rate but does nothing positive with it .... the only strength to his game is his goals .... but even they have dried up this season.

there are a 1000 better players in the world than him
time to give someone else a chance and move him on to his standard of football ... eg a boro / sunderland / wigan team

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

You're so full of shit!! I love the 'fact' about the clause in his contract best. Brilliant.

Why bother replying to him? This guy has consistently proved that he watches games with his head stuck up his arse. There's no need to react to anything he says, as his opinion has ceased to carry any meaning.

We would be hard pushed to replace Jenas with someone better.

Given our current squad, I think our best team would be:

Lennon, Jenas, Corluka, O'Hara

with Modric in between the midfield and Bent upfront.

We'd still have an awesome bench.

I can't see Jenas leaving soon. We tend to get better results when he is fully fit and playing.

I'd imagine JJ is amongst the least likely players Harry would consider selling. He and Woody would probably be the one's he'd not want to lose most.

Like I said. Why bother when the thread's just gonna get hijacked by the likes of you?

Creating a thread about JJ is just choosing to 'send in the clowns'.

This is an open warning to anyone who wishes to go personal on thier stance within this JJ thread. Some members involved in the above handbags have already had warnings regarding their behaviour, which is not acceptable.

If it persists, the next appropriate stage of infraction will take place for those members involved.

My predictability is only matched by your own.......where did I even mention Bentley?

some people on here need to wake up and realise that every fan paying or not has a opinion ,i have been going since 1980 and i dont like or rate jenas
i know for a fact that when my mates dad was assistant manager i was told about the contract clause.
unlike the arshavin thread thias info is true and makes sense when you think of all the bad peformances he had but didnt get dropped.
as for personal attacks ... grow up little boys

I did give two potential circumstances.... the derision of Lennon and the fighting of the Bentley cause, and anyone with half a brain cell would have inferred that it was an either/ or statement, not a coupling of the two.

We'd be idiots to get rid of Jenas. I prefer Zokora for his versatility and sheer effort, but he is never likely to produce something like Jenas did against Arsenal. The squad's thin enough in quality as it is; I'd only let him go if we had signed someone superior beforehand. If Madrid or anyone else offer about £15m plus, we could certainly think about it though. Maybe get in one of their players in exchange. Any thoughts on who that might be?

I would say De la Red if he is better at the end of the season from his current issues, but who knows if he will be able to recover properly. Could do worse than Granero

Granero is now sold to Getafe, he's not on loan anymore...
For what it's worth I'd prefer us to keep some kind of English/British spine to our side. HR is well known for his motivational skills, I'm sure he will weave his magic with JJ and make him into the player we all know he can be. Viva JJ!!!
