What's wrong with Liverpool, if i may ask? Except Suarez of course and the fact that their arrival in the CL has now made it even more difficult for us..

I'm not saying all Liverpool fans are bad, but an overwhelming number of ignorant, insolent, and detached-from-reality fans find a home in that tent. I'm not even British, but I could tell from a very young age that they for some reason attracted people that I just wanted nothing to do with involving the sport. Come the advent of the internet, and it all but confirmed these apprehensions.

Haha oh I absolutely recognize the "psychological transference" of my emotions, but it is what it is. Doesn't help we've had many of the same targets as them in recent years, and now that they've emerged on top that resentment has only grown since they'll likely have first dibs on some of the players that I'd very much like to see us bring in this summer.

It's a story from caughtoffside.com that uses Turtomercado as a source, while Turtomercado uses the Sun as a source.

I'm not sure if there is any story here.

Wow, speaking of said transference, I completely missed this was a caughtoffsides story. I am ashamed I even responded. We've got to have a rule banning any posts from that site (yes I know I'm the idiot who read the story anyway, but it's still got to go for future purposes).

I would be disgusted to see both Livermore and Caulker playing for Liverpool. Something has to be wrong there.

Woh, this deserves a "dislike" @dondo? Seems a pretty benign statement by my take to not enjoy watching two academy players play for a rival, regardless of level of disdain for the club.

We cant have everything our own way. It would be unfair to expect him to miss out on being able to play for a CL team and go to one of the leagues minnows, if at the same time we don't think he's good enough for us. Remember what goes around comes around and if we behave with decency and fairness with our players it will pay off in the long run. Good luck to him as far as I'm concerned.

Oh I wouldn't be suggesting we deny these players a move where they seem fit (I'm actually in a minority holding no resentment towards Madrid, in fact I view the "relationship" as beneficial since it keeps our best players that're sold out of the league), and especially for our academy players, but it does look strange nonetheless. All I'm saying.

I wouldn't have a problem with Liverpool buying Livermore to be honest, if that stops them from going for better targets. Would annoy the shit out of them, with his occasionally very sloppy passing. Don't think he'll make it with us, unfortunately.

Liverpool are going to be unstoppable next season with Lucas, Allen and Livermore in midfield. All they need now is to get Aly Cissokho on a permanent deal and they'll destroy the CL.

Or be destroyed..

Unsure why my post discussing a potentail jake Livermore transfer within the jake livermore transfer thread was given a spam rating by a certain bedfordshirespud. Very confusing!

I do think he will be sold, but I highly doubt it's Liverpool. However, Livermore could be very useful in a high pressing side that Pochettino will implement. The guy may not have the best all around technique but he works his ass off and does get into decent positions.
