I never believe all these announcement theories. It'll just be because we haven't yet agreed a fee. We've been told by ITK that everything else has been agreed. Once it is it could theoretically all get done within a few hours.

Fee is always a sticking point with us and will be the main reason for the delay. Rightly or wrongly Levy is probably haggling with Villa trying to use their position to our advantage. It could well drag on to deadline day imo. If Villa had to sell him immediately it would have been done by now.

While I agree, I would be flabbergasted if we actually announced anything tomorrow. We will be lucky to have anything announced (or done) until after the WC is completed.

It looks like things are happening over there.

According to the birmingham mail tony has turned down 2 offers for shares in the club. One american one demanded that grealish not be sold for less than £40m.

I think if we get him he'll be a great signing for Spurs immediate and long term. What I like about Grealish is his tight control and dribbling abilities we have superb options in Dembele Moura Lamela Grealish (Alli can also do it) all great transition players in tight packed spaces.
