Normally I'd assume since Italy win the group and Wales finish second with a draw that this would end in a draw, after all this is Italy, the land of the biscotto.

But I have a feeling Italy's second string players will be well up for proving themselves with the first team having started so well so if Wales go into this thinking Italy won't give everything they might be in for a hammering.

Wales are already through barring a catastrophe. The GD atm is 4. No chance thats overturned. So Switzerland/Turkey is really just to see who gets the right to wait the other groups out.

I think that it is shameful and an embarrassment that historic football nations resort to using foreign players in their national squads.

Wales getting a bit of a battering here but Big Joe holding firm, he’s got to be one of the first names on the team sheet next season!

I’m worn out after watching Hartlepool beat Torquay on penalties in the Conference play off final. First time in a long time I’ve seen one side (Hpool) dominate the 1st half and then be under siege for the entire 2nd half and most of extra time... and then go on to win the penalty shoot out in sudden death. The Torquay keeper who just happens to be Brazilian had earlier equalised in the 95th minute.

Switzerland putting up a fight. Could be a nervy second half for Wales if the message gets through.

Jeff Stelling in wonderland.

Sorry he's the only Hartlepool fan I know of.
