i know he has his limitations but if you have adama traore in the squad then you need to stick him on for the last 20 minutes in games like that.

One thing i love to see in the euros is the match ups in terms of styles of play and philosophy.
Spain are great but poland work so hard and scrap it out its great to watch. There are better teams than poland that spain could probably brush aside because of their style of play.
If you take all the favourites for the euros they could all beat eachother yet some will match up better than others because there style of play exposes there weaknesses.

For example. Id say as an italian that id be much more confident of beating germany than spain because of nature of how spain play compared to the germans. Likewise id be confident of beating belgium but not france.
Yet all of those named teams are roughly of equal quality overall.

Yet England can be unpredictable. The one match I dread the most.

Kane, who is being targeted by Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, dismissed the idea that publicising his determination to leave Spurs has affected his performances. “Absolutely not,” the 27-year-old said. “All my focus is on how I can help this team and how we can be successful in this tournament. I understand from a media point of view there is speculation but I am fully focused on the job here.”

So was the question put to him "has publicising your determination to leave Spurs affected your performances?"

Doubt it

Adama Traore is completely different stylistically to every player in that squad, not sure why they wouldn't try him as a wildcard

Hard game to call as Wales are no push over. Wales have only lost 1 one in 15. I feel a draw may be on as it suits both teams. I know this sound odd but Italy have started too well for me and being Italian Im struggling with it, its not Italy. Away form Rome and better teams will push us to our limit which Im not sure what that is?

What kind of diabolical fixture list gives us only one kickoff time today?

I'm appalled. This shouldn't happen in a group stage, group stages are all about wall to wall football.

It's the same on Tuesday as well.

I guess cause we have uneven groups, normally you'd get 8 groups of 4 but we have 6 groups of 4 so you'll get 2 days with only 2 fixtures.

Should've played the six groups over three days. I know it's spread out over an extra day for TV purposes of course, they want as few days without football as possible, but it doesn't feel right.

Not connected to the above point I'd be all for expanding the Euros to 32 teams tbh. 16 or 32 are the only acceptable tournament sizes, the 2026 WC with 48 teams is going to be a total shitshow.

The worst fixture is putting the final on a Sunday night. Sadists.

Didnt we have ITK that his brother/father were advising him/trying to get the transfer?

If that is the case then This is why you need experienced (good) people around you as they would have advised him to ask to leave once the tournament had finished. Have a strong tournament and then you give yourself the best possible situation for a transfer.

By doing that interview, he's put more pressure on himself to perform and he's created a narrative around him, even if he says it's not true and he's focused. Others are naturally going to think he is.

Another thing. Bigger clubs may now be looking at him and thinking he can't handle high pressured environments. At Tottenham he's in his comfort zone - environment wise - as there's never expectation or pressure on him to perform. He also walks into the team despite poor form.

At England level, he needs to be showing more. So, if he moved to City and put in these performances, even if it's more down to the coaching, he would be hooked and he'd have to fight to get back into the team
Any buyers must have a tiny doubt wondering if he can handle being at a club where he is expected to perform with more pressure.

I believe he would. But for 150m, buyers are going to have doubts about that.

He's really not helped himself here and he's handed the advantage to Levy.
