is January going to be the most boring transfer window ever for us?

Looking through our squad, we have really decent players such as Dembele & Mason not assured of a first team place. We have others such as Bentaleb coming back from injury who will have to wait for a chance too.
We have decent recent signings such as Davies, Trippier and Wimmer who only get changes in the cups.

Pochettino and Mitchel have successfully trimmed down our squad and we now have a young, settled first team and backups.

The only glaring need is for a top quality alternative to Kane. This has to be someone who fits the ethos and workrate of our team, is good enough to be an alternative but prepared to fight for a chance.

That's all we need or even want. 1 player who will be hard to find.

I'm looking forward to a boring transfer window.

Will only be cover for Kane. Poch will have his ideas...maybe one or two targets. If we can't bring in one from his list, nothing will happen and rightly so.

I can only remember the transfer window under Redknapp when he brought back Defoe and some others as being exciting. Nobody wants to sell key players in January, I think we'll have to wait until summer.

Yep, and a good job too. I'd expect to see people shipped out on perms and loans though. I'd also expect to see a fair few toys out of prams if we don't get a forward in.

I hope so. No doubt though we will get the transfer junkies, whose be all and end all is multi-million pound signings and barely follow what is happening out on the pitch, pop up on here again though and cry their eyes out and demand Levy and co. are burned at the stake if they don't get their signings.

Hopefully we will get some sort of appropriate cover for Kane. Other than that I'd like to see Fazio find a permanent move and would like to see Townsend go out on loan personally.

It'll only be boring if you're expecting shed loads to happen.

I think most of us on here would be happy with just some decent cover for Kane and the striker position.

And I don't think too many will be super shocked if this doesn't materialise either.
