So kane and sissoko definitely injured. The rest are fine/will be assessed for Brighton?

That's the way it looks mate. But I've reached a point where it seems absolutely flipping pointless to try and figure out WTF is happening with our injuries.

Heck, even when we think players are fit, the bloody warm-up robs us of them.

I somehow doubt Lamela is available/being assessed but, as you say, our injury updates are usually pretty worthless - I think we were all surprised when Dier suddenly appeared in the starting 11 v City

And Aurier I assume

Latest I can find on him is this from Sunday.

Serge Aurier provides injury update for Tottenham fans

Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier is on the comeback trail.

Mauricio Pochettino has been without the full-back since he sustained a hamstring injury while on international duty in March.

Aurier hasn’t featured for Spurs since their 1-0 win away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
But he is nearing his return, as he announced to fans via his Instagram page

“Back soon,” he posted on his story, accompanied by a video of him receiving a hamstring massage.
The former Paris Saint-Germain has managed 15 starts for Spurs this season in all competitions.

I wonder if Kane might make the final if we actually get there?

It appears that Kane takes a while to get back to goal machine level after injury . I reckon he hasn't been right all this calendar year and his latest injury occurred before he'd fully recovered from the last injury . He could still do the odd stunning pass , but goal threat seemed seriously diminished ,bar great pens of course ... a slight question over his pressing too .

We scored 3 at City and created load of chances on Sat. To me it looks like goals come easier without a 70-80% performing Kane .

So CL final 1st game for Kane after this injury ?.... I hope not .

Loooong summer rest plz .

Last years thread but no point starting a new one.

They’re just getting ridiculous now. Every week it’s a new one. Now Lloris is out for goodness knows how long with a groin injury.

I swear I’ve never seen anything like it with how unlucky we are with injuries.

Medical department is a fucking joke.

Liverpool play TAA, VVD, Roberton, Mané, Firmino and Salah every fucking game and they don't get injured as much as we get.

It's time to fire everyone and start from the scratch.

Not sure Mou's got a great recent record with medical department personnel... :cautious:

I was thinking the other day that our injury problems this season might have something to do with the new stadium with a different/bigger pitch??

Time for the painful rebuild. Most of our squad are fucked one way or another and the rest our being crushed because we don't have back ups to give them rest.

Please enlighten me how Kane picking a groin injury in a match, Son fracturing his arm in a match and Lloris picking up a groin injury has absolutely anything to do with our medical team?

Stop thinking (y) ;).
Really don’t think it’s that far fetched. Not saying it explains it all, but It’s one factor that has changed and it might have an impact.

Probably the biggest reason for our troubles is a thin and ageing squad.

Anyway you look at it though, I think it’s a bit of a mess. With our ‘state of the art’ training centre we should be able to protect our players better

Did we not have loads of injuries the last couple of seasons as well?

Kane’s injury is based on running him into the ground and Son’s is just bad luck.
