If Defoe celebrates with Sol Campbell...

Players don't feel the same as fans, you'll find that a lot of our squad are more than likely friendly with Judas (and not in THAT way!).

They are doing a job, so all he has done is left to work somewhere else.

He can celebrate with whoever he wants, he is now no longer a spurs player so good luck to him.

I couldn't care less.

Although I am upset that he has gone - I really liked him, but Keane and Berbs are too good to be left out at Defoe's expense.

I hope he starts scoring (except against us), I really think he could be good for England.

I will applaud him when his name is read out at WHL for Pompey - I've got no grudge against his move at all.

He was a legend for us, time to move on with respect.

Jermaine Defoe wasnt even at the club when Campbell left us. He wasnt a Spurs fan and at the end of the day spurs were merley his employees.

Campbell has probaly already been his team mate for England at some point and will do so again. Infact I would imagion their is a good chance they also know each other away from football to some extent (links such as same agent, being young rich footballers in london probally on the same scene to and extent)

But, call me petty, I never want players that leave our club to go on to be particularly successful. I like the thought of them leaving and doing so so or not well at all so that it looks like good business on our behalf rarther then a huge error and loss to our club.

Dont care. JD has made a proffesional choice and one cant blame him for that. Scumball Campbell will no doubt celebrate with Defoe whenever he scores, so what.

I'm more concerned with Spurs and who's going to celebrate with Darren Bent when his plethora of net busters makes us all think Jermaine who?

I quite liked seeing Sheringham achieve so much at Man U tbh, and loved Waddle's season in Marseille.

I wondered this myself actually. January 2004 only four years ago. Sol had a few seasons with Arsenal and this is his second with Pompey.

Just looked it up to remind myself, 2001!!! Sol left us seven years ago and it still hurts like fuck.

Waddle went abroad and his success and no releavance to us and Sheringhams success directly stopped Arsenals (plus he did things like refuse to touch an Arsenal scarff at the chariety shield)

I know its petty and some would say childish, but I do generally prefer players to look like a bad signing for whoever we sell them to and a shrewed piece of business by us offloading them.

Like how Weneger is always hailed as an expert of knowing when to let a player go.

He had done his best for us and I won't have a grudge if he manages to score against us fairly in future.

HaHaha. Do people here actually lose respect for people who are friends with Sol Campbell?! Ridiculous.
Let it go, for fucks sake, he's not a paedophile.

...will you begin to lose respect for him?
Will you change your ideas about him being a "Yido", and see it like he's disrespecting Spurs fans?
It's gonna happen at some point.

He`s not a yido he is a professional footballer who gets paid to play for Portsmouth, he can get a pompey tattoo on his arse for all i care.

Wether he should have stayed or not we can`t expect him to spend the rest of his live crying cos Spurs sold him.

Oh and by the way he will bang them in for fun for Pompey for the next 18 months and get a move to a top four club, i honestly beleive this will happen.

Berby will be gone by then, Bent will be back in the championship and we all we be going on about getting him back.

But hey isn`t this the fun of football!!
