Thread starter is a wum who usually pops up on deadline day. Think I remember having a disagreement with him last year.

Sign Harry Kane up to a long term deal?

Bring in a highly sought after youngster and England youth player?

Ship out some deadwood to ease the wage bill and free up space for future signings

Still not one sensible answer.

We have finished another transfer window a weaker outfit. Like we have done for years.

Do you really think Harry Kane signing a new contract on deadline day was by chance? lol

No, was to cushion the blow for another window of nothing.

Happy clap along.

We will finish 5th or 6th, everyone will swoon over Eriksen and Kane for awhile until he sells one of them and replaces them with a bunch of average and cheap central midfielders.

Im not on a wind up. Can you not see it? Not many of you can.

If Kane or Eriksen get injured, do you really think we are going to get by with Little Paul or Soldado?

Sorry, we are still living hard as a brinkmanship outfit.

The year we sell our talisman players, we still manage to buy and then still turn a solid profit. Does that not set alarm bells off in any of you here? We have a lower net spend than Burnley ffs.

West Ham outspend us, they are having a go.

Ok, so how much has Lennon and BAE contribute to this season so far?

Is this just a numbers game where we are weaker as we now have less players rather than shipping out players that dont seem to be in Pochettino's plans

Should we bring in another player just to make up the numbers and find it difficult to move on in a few seasons?

Who could we bring in to replace Lennon, remembering he is home grown or who would you then leave out of the squad.

Yeah but we are building a 420,000 seater stadium

You buy players to back your manager pushing for a two cups and top 4. Levy never has.

The year we actually got top 4, and the following season, we did nothing to build on it. We did absolutely nothing. I don't think ENIC care while they can turn a profit selling off squad assets.

When Bale was sold, all of his acquisitions after were with a view to turning a further profit. Nothing to improve the current squad, nothing.

He is already rubbing his hands over Lloris and Eriksen , and the wheel turns and he'll sign another boat load of average garbage.

Lets talk about that stadium. Reading FC managed to build one, Sunderland did, Brighton did... Levy couldn't because he couldn't find anyone else to pay for it.

ENIC need to GTFO.

was he wrong then? we do seem to do this every jan window.
When was the last time we sold in January making ourselves weaker?

Has the loss of Naughton destroyed our hopes this season?
Did selling no one last Jan weaken us?
Maybe the single sale of Jenas the Jan before killed our 2012/13 season
Selling Pav in Jan killed our 2011/12 season?
Selling no one the Jan before that weaken us?

How much further back do I need to go to see if the OP was wrong about Levy makingn us weaker in Jan? Certainly not every January window, in fact we never seem to.

Genuine question, are you also a WUM?

I think you are confusing not strengthening and weakening.

See my post above. Can't remember the last time we weakened in Jan. So you're either a WUM or an idiot, no offence.

Absolutely incredible that the club thinks that Adebayor and Soldado are acceptable backup strikers. I'm actually gobsmacked that a club could be this out of touch and this hesitant to learn on past mistakes. 2 points off 4th place, League Cup Final, Last 32 in Europe and yet again we have to watch the club take a massive gamble that 1 or 2 amazing players will stay fit and potentially piss everything that could have been down the drain.
