I'm still getting over the Luka Modric chant years on!!
I remember trying for several games in succession to get a chant of "Hooray, Hooray, Heurelho" going, but no takers

We don't need anything to improve atmosphere. Fans have and will always respond to what happens in the pitch
That's the problem we (and to be fair, most of English football) have. Fans' atmosphere should not have to correlate with pitch performance, fans should bring their A-game regardless. We don't need anything to improve atmosphere. Fans have and will always respond to what happens in the pitch
I absolutely loathe that song!"And don't forget, it's:
'...An arsenal fan, on a string, she told me to kick his fucking in, fucking head in, fucking head in,she told me to kick his fucking head in...'
Enjoy the game,
Daniel"
I absolutely loathe that song!
It harks back to the bad old days of the 70s and 80s when violence marred football.
The language is foul.
It's not connected with the game.
It's not encouragement or recognition for individual players or the team as a whole.
You like it because it reminds you of the days when violence marred football? Bellend!Strange, I like it - for the same reasons
Yep that’s a absolute awful chant. Same with trying to add Arsene wenger on the end to any chant they can.I absolutely loathe that song!

Well obviously! Derrrr! ?The atmosphere at the Lane for the last couple of seasons was something special, I remember that game against Swansea when we were going for the title and we fell behind 1-0, the crowd were still behind the team and we pulled it out of the bag with late goals from Chadli and Rose.
That would never happen now.
