When a manager (I remember Jol doing so) or player asks of us to be the 12th man, i've never really believed our fans could sing our team too victory, it's a cliché that had never captured my imagination. I was born in 87 and I'd seen a few F.A semi finals that dashed that hope.
The Carling Cup under Ramos somehow made that cliché real, and the 5-1 against Arsenal and the final against Chelsea, seemed almost to belong to us as much as the players. It also made me realise that the possibly the main reason I love this club so much, is those fans with whom I shared those wonderful days.
There is not doubt that today's result left me feeling a little like this -

However, I'm sick and tired of reading this forum and seeing us turning on each other. So i'm steering clear of this forum until the F.A cup game. (I know, what a junky!)
Meanwhile, I'll be placing a curse on Man City.
For this I'm using the top of a Honey dew melon on which I carved a little spurs emblem and the word "Yid". Initially used to cheer up my housemate, but now it has a darker purpose.
1. In this melon I will place some of Adebayor's mums pubic hair (pretty easy to acquire if you believe the song)
2. The blood of Georgi Kinkladze (much harder to acquire, even harder than remembering how to spell his name)
3. Last but not least some seamen acquired from what will now be know as the '1981 Ricky Villa wank' (the easiest of all of the above to achieve)
I've stirred it all around a bit with a twig, and I can pretty much guarantee with my knowledge of the dark arts, that Man City will lose all of their games in hand.
Remember Spurs fans to keep the faith, it's the F.A cup this weekend, and I hear the club has some sort of deep embedded 'romance' with this competition.
