I think the signing of Kranjcar was funnier, I could get my head round the Ferdinand as more of an ambassador type...but then when you realised their best defender was Richard Dunne you knew it was absolute bedlam.

Has proved one thing to me though that I said for years, and that is Steven Caulker was always exceptionally overrated.

You could stick early 90's Franco Baresi in that QPR defence and even he'd look awful.

Lol. BBC says Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey (didn't know he was at QPR) will take temporary charge.

It's all set up for Tim isn't it.

Tim Sherwood is out there somewhere checking the QPR website to see what their gilets are like

A bit shit by the looks of it...

Harry Redknapp has left QPR, he was seen leaving the training ground this afternoon, holding Niko Kranjčar's hand.

18.8% - Harry Redknapp recorded the worst win percentage of any permanent QPR manager in the Premier League. Resigned.

His signing of Ferdinand was laughable, and there's surely only so many times you can buy Niko Kranjcar?

Loved Harry for most of his time with us. But in general it's been a bit of a car crash at QPR.

What about the Sandro signing? An injury prone midfielder who 'Arry signs and then gets injured. I bet Tony F was well impressed with that bit of business.

Really poor timing on HR part. The cynic in me says he's throwing his dummies out as QPR failed to get the players he wanted yesterday.
Whoever takes over now has one hell of a job keeping them up now, kudos to him if he manages to do so.....

They have been a shambles this season. Arry's lucky he wasn't sacked considering the money he's had to spend on transfers and wages. Having said that, I do like the old charmer, and the Prem is a poorer place for his absence.

This is one Ade's head surely?
His mum's sitting at home laughing maniacally at her collection of dolls and knitting needles...

Text I just received from a QPR supporting mate:

"Time to rejoice, wanker Redknapp has resigned. Such a dick, all because uncle Tony wouldn't back him to buy shit old has beens in the transfer market. So happy!"

Not sure if that's the general feeling, but I get the impression he wanted Arry gone...

My opinion is that this is Redknapp giving up and throwing in the towel and getting out before they get relegated. Ok he might need a knee op, but I don't think anyone would ever portray him as a 'hands on' coach who is at the heart of every training session. If he was committed to the job then he'd be hobbling round on crutches or a golfcart ASAP. I also think the timing is dodgy, after a transfer window where he didn't get any money to spend.
