I have a feeling that he is way more suited to being a coach than a manager/tactician, I agree with BC that so far in an admittedly sinking ship he hasn't shown much promise, but if they have got the tools to rebuild and can have a clear out then its a good opportunity for him (and Les) to show what they can do and build something more sustainable and for the long term.

Do you really think their fans would want this? They're a group of individuals who stupidly think they'll be in the Champions League regularly once they get their new stadium. There is no way they'd be happy with going for a manger who doesn't have a minute of top-flight experience.

I don't think any West Ham owner has ever listened to the fans though.

They'll get a fine but they aren't going to be kicked out of the league. I don't think the fine will be anywhere near some of the figures that were initially reported.

Didn't Tony rave on twitter about getting the manager they wanted but wouldn't be appointed until the summer, if it was going to be Chris why not announce it back then?

Does sound like Chris has got the job by default as the new manager probably would have only come if they were in the prem.
