A very brave move by Levy to part company with Harry. Only time will tell if it was the right or wrong move.

Whatever happens, Levy has once again shown that he has a pair of balls and is not afraid of doing what he thinks is right for the club.

It doesn't make any difference. Modric was going to go anyway. Top clubs are always going to be after Bale (think he will stay for 1 more season anyway regardless)

We were always going to be in transition this coming season. Too many injured/older players with at least one star player out of the club.

Harry or no Harry this was always going to be the case.

If it is Moyes then to be honest he will be a good choice.

I'm afraid the game is all about money and Chelsea and City have ruined the game. We can't compete with them and it doesn't matter who the manager is really.

Doesn't it seem a little harsh banning adiepf now (we banned him right?), he was only a couple of days off!

On the one hand I found the guy on SSN a bit unconvincing - could they be basing their story on internet sites , as they gave little confidence that their sources were good. On the other, they have to be total idiots to splash it like that if they are not 100% sure of the story.

While I would agree that HR was distracted by the England speculation and did make some tactical mistakes, on balance I think this is a bad move, unless DL has a really special replacement lined up. The reality is that we would not be having any debate if Chelsea had not somehow fluked the CL - I defy anyone to deny that if they were told at the start of the season that we would finish 4th they would have been very happy. For all his faults, that is the core of it for me with regards to HR as manager

Seems like most here are being respectful, so hopefully that trend can continue

Many here really love Harry. I am sorry this has happened. Hopefully this is part of the clubs incremental progress that had been going on before Harry, but was aided immensely by him. But please refrain from damning the entire club and the supporters who don't like him. We're all Spurs.

Many here really loathe Harry. This is not a happy day. Hopefully we can build on the incremental progress that has been in place for years and Harry deserves much credit for. Let us not forget all of the great things he did for us. And refrain from damning the supporters who love him. We're all Spurs.

Many here are torn (this is me). Let us both appreciate Harry and find a way to look forward to this next phase. We will worry, but let's find reasons to be hopeful too.

And please SHUT THE FUCK UP about Adiepf. I am quite sure you can start your own forum/blog/fan club where you can religiously praise this person. But your obsession is not welcome here.

Just thinking that it may be a case of Levy deciding that I'll screw you over before you screw me. Redknapp has always and will always look after number one. He's been fantastic for our club, but this could be a major step forward for our great club. I just hope that, as in the Jol situation when we suddenly had a good manager that we dumped, that we avoid having a Ramos before we get our next saviour in!!

Going to be Moyes, Levy will like the safe choice and the tight spending especially with the new stadium

now the exodus of players, sad day for our club

a lot of players already voicing upset over this

The ones who rebelled against him during the spring you mean?

Yes, the complaints are deafening.

If anything a new manager will re-energise the club and convince our big players that we can progress (i.e. UEFA cup isn't as good as it gets)

Good, as for those who are saying it will lead to a flood of our best players leaving its a myth.

The reason we are in transition is because of Redknapp. He did a great job initially but he has really aged our squad and marginalised the younger players such as Corluka and Bassong who still have decent potential. Sandro could easily have been loaned out too! Redknapp has gutted the playing staff because of this short term outlook.

It's Official. After the Jol Ramos debacle and now this. The board have finally shown their true colours. The are all fucking gooners. No spurs fans would advocate getting rid of our best manger regardless of the off field antics, when a team is playing football that had not been seen round these parts for fucking decades!!

I despair and give up in equal measure

Always in their shadow!
Are they bollocks, If a manager demanded a contract extension and then changed his agent the week during Levy is mourning his mother, to one who is notorious in the game to be a shit and tries to force people out of their club, what does he expect also where does it say he was sacked???

I think the worst thing to come out of this so far is that the only person SSN could get for comment was John Scales.

Im Pleased , he taken us as far as he can.
He slagged us off as fans the club history.
Actually Harry you've never had it so good!
I would have sacked him after the Arsenal game our worst result in the last 40 years.
Let alone losing two semi-finals and blowing the CL two years on the trott.
I expect Cappello to be appointed at manager!

I think the club has handled this correctly. Waited for the end of the season and the dust to settle, looked at options and gave Harry a chance to argue his case.

No agreement could be reached so it has resulted in a parting of he ways. Now they need to tie up the contractuals.

No information has come out of the club as it would have been inappropriate to do so before all was tied up.

The "problem" has been mis-information and rumour via various, some dubious, sources. Plus Harry talking to the press.

This is nothing like the Jol situation as Harry has been involved throughout.

Thanks `Arry, I will look back with mainly great memories.

I just hope Levy knows what he's doing as who ever comes in will have to do well do better than `Arry.
