Every team who has a talisman player will have to deal with the day that they stop having them. They might leave on a transfer, they might get injured, they might retire, but a day comes when they aren't there anymore.

As Bomber says, personally I think another year here, get the goalscoring record off of Shearer, help us back into the top slots, leave on a free and make baaaannnnkkkk off of it that would've far outweighed any wages he'd lose for another 12 months at The Lane, but the time came and he's not here anymore +shrug+

We work with what we've got and, so far, it's working for us and it's working out for him too. Onwards and upwards and all that, what what.

Don't get the bitterness toward him tbh
I think it's just because he left us.
Whether his decision was right or wrong, he chose to leave the club we love and as soon as someone does that, he's the enemy.

You're either with us, or your against us.

Lol Harry Kane with 4 goal contributions in 2 Bundesfarmer matches… for years Bayern fans were telling me “numbers don’t lie” and “only our Lewa could get those numbers in a top league like Germany, it’s so hard” :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I’m dying. Their football is pure shite as well, Tucheliban anti football nonsense, doesn’t faze Kane whatsoever.

Just browsing the Bayern subreddit thread for the match, scroll down and you see how much they're warming to that boy from The Lane

They should, he’s easily their best player and the best player in that awful joke of a league. We’ve been saying this for ages and they’re finally coming around.

In Lewandowski’s best season for Bayern he got 48 goal contributions in 29 league games.

One team leagues are so boring.

Bayern are a team of greedy ****s. Kane free twice in space of minutes and his team mates opted to shoot from distance instead. Genuinely Kane would’ve scored both if the ball was passed to him.

Glad we got £100M for him but he should’ve waited a year, help us win a trophy and sign for Madrid on a free. Would’ve been a contender for ballon d’or with Madrid in my opinion.
Was that an option? Wasn’t the situation that Levy wouldn’t accept him leaving on a free?

I saw the Bayern Augsburg game instead of Newcastle Liverpool

Tuchel still playing turgid football. Bayern build up is a mess. All they have is 3 pacy players around Kane and Kane's been trained well in Spurs on how to score inspite of bad football around him.

If this continues, Bayern will comfortably win the Bundlesliga because rest of them dont have a 30 goals season player. I am convinced this Bayern wont go much further in CL

I think any bitterness I might have felt has been washed away with how we have started the season.
I think it's the same for me. We will never have another Kane, but the collective may just achieve what an individual delivered.

It was certainly an option for Kane to stay and leave on a free no matter what Levy wanted. And I think he’d have gone to Madrid because the Mbappe situation has now changed and he’s not going on a free there next year as he’s signed a 2 year contract with PSG. Would’ve been perfect timing for Kane and Madrid.

Better ask the mods to delete the Jimmy Greaves thread then :shifty:

One team leagues are so boring.

Haaland scored 36 in 35 League games in his first season with City as they wrapped up their fifth title in six seasons.
Best league in the world though...?

I think it hurts because he's forgotten about us already ....

I don’t think he has but I know what you mean. After a decade of being nothing short of a hero for us, it feels like he’s snuck out of the back door without really saying goodbye.

I personally am so happy for Kane, no bitterness here. He deserves to win it all and I really hope he can track down that 41-goal season, would be incredible, seems like Bayern fans love him already…

call it petty however, and it’s the beast of football fans (especially online) but I do get a little frustrated with everybody NOW saying he’s a world class talent and everybody marvelling his skills, when he was forever torn down and criticised at Spurs…I really don’t get how we are so capable of rattling so many fan bases when we are frequently bantered for being a “small club”

Relations with those above must really have been sour. Kane wanted out and Levy wanted the money.
Huge shame because Kane in our team this season would have been brilliant to watch.

He'll rip rip the BL, should have had three tonight, and could easily score a hat trick most weeks this year. Harry will pocket a league title although probably won't receive the recognition he would like for winning a title.

Makes it even more clear how keen he must have been to get out of Spurs.
Will be interesting to see what he does in a few years, German titles time.

Obviously miss him, esp with our current striker not even close to Kane contributions but I am loving our new number 10.

I don't watch (or care to watch) German football so don't not really feeling anything, but when the England games come around and the Champions League properly starts that's when I'm gonna feel it... :(

We haven't even got any other England players that can dress up nice and pretend they're laughing with others in the dressing room or training pitch :(:cautious:
