If it turns out he only half wanted to go to Bayern and really only went out of respect to us in regards to us getting a fee and not playing for a prem rival then he is an absolute legend.

If he was just desperate to leave and win/compete for major trophies straight away then I’m less sympathetic towards him. Either way I’m happy he’s not here anymore, as weird as that sounds with him being one of our best ever players but the time had come seeing as he wasn’t committing.
