Wouldn't surprise me at all if Kane starts scoring for fun again in the next couple of weeks / months.
Maybe. Certainly hope so. But also possible we have seen the best of him now (as a goalscorer).

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Kane starts scoring for fun again in the next couple of weeks / months. Conte and he will find a way.
Helps that the goal keepers are 5ft.True - not sure if you saw any of the goals from the Women’s Cup Final but the Chelsea player, Sam Kerr has a very similar opportunity and she finished the way Kane should have done!
Sophie Baggaley, who kept goal for Bristol, is 5ft6.Helps that the goal keepers are 5ft.
I’m sorry but I saw the goal, she was basically in the box, running towards goal and the main reason she was able to do it is the fact the keeper is tiny. You try that in the men’s game and it doesn’t happen from that close range. They’re completely different chances.Sophie Baggaley, who kept goal for Bristol, is 5ft6.
Obviously still very short for a goalie by men’s standards, but when the conversation is about the composure to get the shot on target in the first place, your implied disparagement comes off as a bit on the mean side.
I fully accept that I, and several others, may have thought it, and I’m not interested in the women’s game personally, but many are and I think we should try to avoid little digs like that. Frankly, not one person on this forum would be able to keep up with any decent level women’s side.
Wouldn’t have mattered if there was a 5 year old in goal for Norwich as Kane’s effort was not on targetHelps that the goal keepers are 5ft.
So you’re saying that pointing out the height of women’s goalies and underestimating it by a good 10% is relevant to whether or not Kane Shouldn’t got hits shot on target?I’m sorry but I saw the goal, she was basically in the box, running towards goal and the main reason she was able to do it is the fact the keeper is tiny. plus that is a bold statement given the results where academy u15s teams have beaten the best international sides in the women’s game.

Happy to disagree on that point, but either way it doesn’t detract from my overriding statement that the exaggerated dig about height has nothing to do with the discussion around whether or not Harry could’ve got his chip on target in the way that a currently confident player did in the women’s final.Sorry to pick you up on this but that is really really not true. The womens game still has a long long way to go before that would be the case. Any half decent Saturday amateur team i suspect would wipe the floor with even the top teams in womens football. I really dont mean that to be disrespectful either but having coached and watched supposedly high level womens teams for the past 5 years i really could not agree less with your last sentence.
He played really well v Norwich in my opinion and looked a lot more like himself.Think Harry is doing a good job for the team and is an absolutely crucial part of it
Am sure Conte sees him as one of the proverbial first names on the team sheet
If that was why I posted, i'd be doing that in every thread on SC. But I don't, because it isn't.People talk about recent events relevant to current players form on football fan forum?
Obviously.Don't give a shit if he only scores three goals this season if the team finishes fourth.
