A couple of weeks with his feet up could be exactly what he needs. In fact, I’m certain it is. Mentally and physically he can have a rest, play with his kids and try and forget about football for a few days.

The Man City opportunity has passed him by.
Needs to get his head down and work hard to regain that extra sharpness and confidence.
As they say, form is temporary, class is permanent.

I’d really hope with Conte in charge, providing a clear winning game plan and hopefully a better strategy of getting in the needed players starting in January, we’ll go back to the days we have a team that challenges and gets the best out of him.

To be fair to Kane, even though his behaviour was poor over summer, from his point of view we had been getting steadily worse through very poor recruitment decisions that could have easily been avoided - the same issue we’ve always had under Levy in that we get a good team and he thinks that’s it we don’t need to keep adding to it.

With the latest ITK from Herc about City, HK does still have options~ depending on who goes to Man U(maybe Poch) I recon it's them or he stays

Tim Howard did a TV piece here on NBCSN on inside the mind of Harry Kane. HK said all the right things.

Kane wants to win silverware, so his next step will be down to where he thinks he can do that. PSG might be a shout as he'll be guaranteed that and will probably have a shot at the Champions League too. Especially as they will be looking to replace Mbappe after he heads off to Real. Bayern could be an option if/when Lewa ever retires, but they won't pay what we'd want.

In England there is really only City that can guarantee some sort of silverware. Chelsea are the next best alongside Liverpool, but neither of them really have need of Kane. UTD are a mess, but if they get the right coach in this summer then maybe he'd go there.

In his shoes, i'd just see out my contract and go wherever I want in two years time. He won't be in his prime, but City would snap him up as rotation with Haaland. In fact any of the cash strapped giants could go for him then.
