I'm seriously considering writing to the FA should this go through and questioning how can it be right that its England captain be employed by a state that has such little disregard for human rights.

In fact I'd like all spurs fans to do it. Their should be consequences for him chasing the blood money like he is
Yet we want £150m+ of that blood money.

I just don't want to go through all this again next summer

..has to go now surely
Weirdly, I don't actually mind going through this next summer - just cause we know he'll 100% be gone next summer if he doesn't go this summer

It feels a lot easier knowing where we stand

and we're meant to be bringing in 4, +5 if kane goes... i dont know how we're gonna be doing that but I'm looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds.

We may bring in 4/5 players - but will they be at the required level to challenge or just be panic buys?

Hope it’s the former!

Would be shocked if we got 5, cannot see that happening at all, hope we do though

Really lost with this. Citeh seem to now want to give us what we want (ball-park figure) and stone-walled response from us. Can’t make this out ?

wish we just get rid. More down to ‘can we get who we want?’ to replace him!
Are Levy just in this for the banter, and all this is just to hold up City? *I wish*

Citeh don’t think Levy will negotiate. Can someone please explain to them that Baldy saying “Harry Kane is not for sale, but if you put £160m on the table then we can discuss the add ons” is in fact a negotiation?

Not one person on here knows how far along we are with deals. Not one. I imagine we have a lot already lined up to pull the trigger, everything agreed. It's not like we'll be starting from scratch.

It would be extremely dissappointing to hear that the reason we don't get this done because we failed to get our plans sorted and ready to push through in regards to replacements.

The excuse of city leaving it too late wouldn't really wash with me when we knew the eventuality of what city would do with Kane and we heard that Nuno wanted Kane gone. It has been expected that Paratici is the guy that has everything lined up and if we haven't yeah it would be dissappointing to hear hes not done what was expected of him.

However I'm keen to stress the "it would" prefix as we are yet to see what transpires yet.

I was previously hoping he’d go with us rinsing Shitty for a monster fee, but part of me would really like us to stand firm against these bullying tactics and say no sale.

Even if we get a huge fee both Shitty and Kane are getting their way and that doesn’t sit right with me.

Selling Kane without adequate replacements lined up would be massively irresponsible from Levy.

City have had months to stop fucking around and pay the money we all know they have, just because they and Kane have been dicks doesn't mean we should shoot ourselves in the foot.

If our top targets are no longer possibilities at this stage we shouldn't sell.

We'd be cutting our nose off to spite our face. What matters is what is best for spurs and it's irrelevant if that also means that city and Kane get their way. To not do what's best for spurs because we want to stroke our ego by standing firm against a bully is just foolish.

If Kane stays we will have a 3rd season in a row with a dark cloud over the team. Lets move on and make decisions which benefit Tottenham Hotspur.

Most likely reason for Levy’s continued intransigence, IMO, is that this “ball park” figure is actually something like £130m + £20m add ons.

And, as far as Levy is concerned, that just isn’t going to cut it if what he actually wants is a straight up £160m.

Which is why I think we will hear we are moving on strikers before we from the media that City has had a breakthrough on Kane. Until we hear about strikers moving to us I don't expect Kane to go.

Surely the deadline wouldve been like last week if there was any slight possibility we could miss out on our targets if it got too late? The optimist in me wants to believe that with this deadline that we are confident in our transfer plans regardless of the sale of Kane or not

Really? Don’t want an answer or to compromise your source but that’s big. Maybe I’ve phrased this the wrong way. They can’t have given us what we want.
