Just wanted to pop back in and say fuck this petulant 2 year old snake. So fucking glad this schmuck is off. He's spent the last 4 months disrespecting the club, its fans & his teammates. Fuck him. I would love to see Dier or Pierre end his career with a heavy 2 footed ankle breaker.

That's it for me. Maybe ill be back in a few months. Maybe I wont. So long everyone.

Okay now that Yankspurs has posted, this feels very real.

Announce the deal on Sunday morning so the fans can let him know exactly how they feel the during the match. Silly boy, he will look back in years to come and realise how much he fucked it all up.
That is exactly the reason why they wouldn't do it. Supporters taunting each other and causing scenes which result in FA fines and extremely negative press can all be avoided by announcing a deal after the match rather than just before kick off.

Pep was right. We were the "Harry Kane" team. We were always one injury away from a crisis - and we hit that multiple times because of his crystal ankles and the fact we had no idea of how to play without him. Yes, his goals are hard to replace on a like-for-like basis but Son had a more prolific time when HK was out and having to develop a new way of playing that isn't solely through HK could liberate and actually make us more difficult to play against. We will certainly be less "stop Kane, stop Tottenham".

Plus, we have found ourselves in a position where we have weaknesses throughout the team. So whereas we could keep Kane, we'd then still have those weaknesses. Now we can raise the quality in other key areas. This, in turn, will hopefully make us better.

The money does have to be around 160 though. and the recruitment has to work.

We were the Harry Kane team that knocked him out of the CL without Harry Kane.

But if we minimise damage liability by investing the funds in quality players who will ensure that the stability and power of the playing squad will allow us to genuinely challenge for major honours for many seasons to come then surely the pain would be more of a dull ache than a dagger to the heart and one we would get over very quickly.

Mate. As I said to you some time ago it’s all ifs at the moment. I’m sure everyone here will be happy if by the end of the window we have made 4-5 good signings as we’re then going to see the changing of the guard so to speak.

However at the moment our squad is likely to be weaker than it was at the end of last season and the premiership starts in less than 48 hours.

Beautiful
Could be. But sounds like Man City are being quite deliberate in delaying the inevitable. Make us desperate to accept an offer 10 or 20m below our asking price, knowing full well, we are screwed in terms of timing if we don't get this done ASAP. The fact is, they know and we know this could have been done and dusted before the Euros. Which makes me despise them even more. It's one thing, getting their fat, greasy hands on our star player, but it's another thing altogether, trying to do it in a way that also cripples us for the season, by leaving it late. They really are puerile and classless. I don't blame Levy one bit for standing his ground. It's important we get what we want, when we want it, and how we want it. This shouldn't be painless for City. Quite the opposite. If we have to feel the pain, so should they.

Credit to Levy for listening to Paratici and trusting him with this mammoth decision. The pressure is certainly on Paratici now to prove he was right to be backed that he can deliver quality with this money.

Excuse me, young man. This is no way to say goodbye. I suggest sticking around for the buying of players- god knows it been a long time coming. At least you can get some enjoyment out of that

It was inevitable really but the way he and his team have handled this have been fucking appalling and lost a lot of goodwill from fans who wouldn’t have begrudged him this move.

We move on and in Paratici we couldn’t be in better hands to bring about the ‘painful rebuild’.

Really hope we make them stick one or two of their top academy prospects in the deal. Need to build up those HG ranks.

I really hope we play Man City during the Super Bowl final so we don’t have to play against him this season.

I just don't see what you are basing that opinion on except previous experiences. Why can't you stop using the past to somehow shape the future and try to make a realistic and factual assessment of a transfer window when it is concluded and not 70% completed.

I still expect to see you change to a smiling avatar come Sep 1st.
