The 7 stages of grief
Shock and denial. This is a state of disbelief and numbed feelings.
Pain and guilt. ...
Anger and bargaining. ...
Depression. ...
The upward turn. ...
Reconstruction and working through. ...
Acceptance and hope.

Us oldies could see the writing on the wall. We’ve seen it before and we have been expecting it to happen the day after the City match. I know you are angry but that hurt will hopefully be eased if we buy better than the 7 Bale gang. Fabio need to earn his Spurs.

He’s really tarnished his reputation with the method he’s done this and I’d be surprised if the crowd on Sunday doesn’t heap some real shit on him. I hope someone finds a song that will really make up for the hurt. Remember Kellis and Alanis Morrisette? That type of song!!

The more I think about this the more I think Kane could actually regret this.

Anyone can go to city and get the medals that they’d win with or without you it’s almost meaningless these days.

Whereas very very very few players get the chance to be one of English footballs most famous clubs top EVER goalscorer which would mean statue, legacy and immortality amongst Spurs fans.

I know Kane is ambitious but if he and his family are Spurs fans I think he’s making a mistake tbh.

Such a shame that he's pissed his legacy down the river. Could've stayed respectful and still got his move and the trophies, no matter how hollow, he craves.

Cant wait to see what faux sentiment he puts out in his parting statement, wont believe a word.

Well, he had plenty of opportunities to win trophies with spurs, but took none of them. I'm glad we're making the xha ge now rather than go through this in Jan and then again next summer let's get this over with, move on and bring in our targets.

I have no animosity for him. Wish he handled things differently but expecting people to do the decent thing is a quick route to disappointment. I hope our team are better off after his sale. We deserve players who want to play for us.

Tbh I'm finding this all a bit sickening.

Think my faith in any player playing for the badge is well and truly over for ever.

It's not the same football anymore, full of multi-millionaire tossers.

Certainly never going to hero worship a player again.

Just wanted to pop back in and say fuck this petulant 2 year old snake. So fucking glad this schmuck is off. He's spent the last 4 months disrespecting the club, its fans & his teammates. Fuck him. I would love to see Dier or Pierre end his career with a heavy 2 footed ankle breaker.

That's it for me. Maybe ill be back in a few months. Maybe I wont. So long everyone.
Nice to see you back even if it’s only temporary. Can’t say I’m on board with you wishing personal harm to Kane by having his ankle broken but each to his own…..

I just don't see what you are basing that opinion on except previous experiences. Why can't you stop using the past to somehow shape the future and try to make a realistic and factual assessment of a transfer window when it is concluded and not 70% completed.

I still expect to see you change to a smiling avatar come Sep 1st.

Let the man be emotional.

On top of any transfer fee, we should also get man city to cover the cost of his covid tests this week

That'll show the fuckers.

Great player whom I loved to watch score goals. But as a fan I want to be represented by players who want to be at the club. As soon as he decided to push for the move he needed to go. I’m glad Nuno wanted him out. This is probably the most painful part of the rebuild, but the night is darkest before the dawn.

One of my favourite periods of being a Spurs fan was watching Kane emerge along with Dele, Eriksen and co. We weren’t winning then but we, for the first time in years, had a group of players who wanted to fight for the club. I’m hoping we’re about to see the same.

I think he's obviously not motivated by having any sort of legacy mate, it's a real shame.

He'll just be happy to win a few trophies and most likely break Shearer's record.

Kane could have been immortalised. Whereas now, he'll just be a footnote in our history.

Really hope we make them stick one or two of their top academy prospects in the deal. Need to build up those HG ranks.
I would be delighted to deal, if it is somewhere between 130-140m pounds, and Laporte is included on a 2 year loan. That allows us to focus our spending on a new RB, CM, CF and an AM/F. And we have two weeks to get it done.

(I wonder if the Takehiro deal has been delayed, until we know how much is added to the existing budget from the Harry deal... as it could be they have a better RB option in mind?).

Credit to Levy for listening to Paratici and trusting him with this mammoth decision. The pressure is certainly on Paratici now to prove he was right to be backed that he can deliver quality with this money.
I would imagine he has already convinced Levy by showing him the pending deals that just needed the 'GO' button pressing.

Think that shows real strength. Good on him. More impressed as the days go by. As for Kane, I would have been disappointed if he’d done it properly to be honest. Adamant he wanted to stay in the league is a bitter pill. Add to that the team he has gone to what more can be said. You’ll never be appreciated there Harry and you’ll never be welcomed back here, certainly not by me anyway. Good luck!

How do you guys think he will be viewed in England after his career though? I'm an American so I can't really spectate how YOU guys view him but I do kind of relate as a Lakers fan who watched Kobe Bryant all his life.
