Up into 3rd place by himself on our all time goalscorers list now, going past Chivers today. With 34 goals needed to pass Bobby Smith in 2nd place, it's inevitable that he'll do that before the end of the 2020/21 season if he stays fit, and then it becomes a question of whether we can keep him for long enough to give Greavsie a run for his money. Insane.

i loved Poch and gutted that he left (and disappointed with the Kane rumors) BUT with Jose in charge, I actually think that the odds of Kane staying for the rest of his career are quite high to be honest. His peak years and Jose's 3.5 year contract coincide now

Think it really showed in his performance today he wasn’t happy with the tactics from poch or what he was being asked to do

I think if it wasn’t mind blowingly obvious Kane had lost faith in Poch, just watch his performance today. He hadn’t played like that under Poch for years.

It’s taken José two days to turn Kane into a more talented Diego Costa mk 2 ???

Where's that guilty pleasures thread because I have to admit I've always been a big fan of Costa . The way used to bully defenders. Even when they beat us in the league cup final I couldn't help but by impressed the way he had Walker and Dier among others rattled. He is one those who you just hate to play against and I couldn't help but admire it.

Needs to get his shots away quicker, there was 2 times today he was in behind but took too long to get the ball shifted on to his right foot and ended up being tackled. He can finish fine with his left so not sure why he's so insistent on it.

Played very well overall though.

I think it's largely a result of those ankle injuries that he hesitates a split second more than he used to. He used to be the best at firing off shots out of nothing.

Kane was played in twice in the first 6 minutes today, the last few months under Poch he was lucky to be set up with an opportunity once a game.

As I said in the match thread. Reckon Jose has asked him to show a bit of Drogba today. While Kane has a much better scoring record than Didier, I think Drogba was a better s***houser and defenders knew they had been in a game after playing against him. Occupy the defenders and let them panic about his size and strength rather than messing around deeper.

I liked Costa and especially Drogba, as a player. Got to say though, that league cup final, if anything it made me think Dier was gonna be a top centre half. He met Costa head on and gave as good as he got that day, and he was very young at the time too

I wonder with FA cup and champions league games still to play whether he’ll go above Bobby Smith (whoever he was ?). Must admit to my heart being my mouth when he went down holding his ankle after scoring mind.

That Snodgrass kicking was great. I mean, I'm not a fan of kicking but I appreciate why he did that. Took one yellow for the team to stop the play and allow doc on the pitch. That's what I expect from a lider.
Ultimate shithousing, loved it. Then snodgrass reacted and nearly got sent off lol

He needs 33 to equal and therefore 44 for the season, which just isn't going to happen bearing in mind we're at the end of November.

And you call yourself a Spurs fan. Bobby Smith was the CF that won the double. Game was different then but he put himself about. Used to be able to shoulder charge goalkeepers back then. He’d wait till they jumped to catch a cross or corner then shoulder them into the net. Also was England CF back then could score with both fey
