Kane had a very good game. Got off 6 shots and was showed great awareness for the Aurier "goal".

Exactly, if our other players had the same awareness to pass as Harry we’d be sitting here with a win against Olympiacos and probably a win on Saturday.

Kane is not our problem, the guy is an absolute beast of a player and I don’t think he’s even hit top form yet this season.

Superb goal. But all of his other attempts were woeful for his standards .
The goal he did score was brilliant you won't see that type of goal often.

Harry Kane is a top player and strikers will miss at times

The only issue I've seen with Harry is with his pace/mobility as he's struggling to surge past players these days. Other than that his passing is brilliant, he holds the ball up well, has great vision and he can still finish from anywhere. We shouldn't be looking to drop him, we should be looking to get the ball to him more often in dangerous areas.

I watched the highlights, Kane looked to be very pissed off when Lamela didn't pass, It's actually pretty rare from Kane to not show composure in these kind of moments:

I can understand his frustration, we are just failing as a team to create anything for him.

I've seen this a few times recently. There were a couple of occasions on Saturday when he was clearly unhappy at not getting a pass.

I've been accused on here that I have an anti-Kane agenda. That's total bullshit. I have only a pro-spurs agenda. To say that his goal stats are less impressive when you exclude penalties is a valid point for debate, like it or not...

But credit where it is due - Kane's performance against Leicester was hugely encouraging. He looked like he was going to score throughout the 90 mins. In games where the opposition gives us space too attack and counter, he still looks good.

It's a shame that he blew two very good chances. Both left foot - one week straight at Kasper, and another rifled but straight at him. The one he did score, however, was fucking incredible.

You mean, apart from the one he scored where he practically defied the laws of physics.
I'm actually astonished that VAR didn't decide to rule it out and give us a penalty instead... only for Harry to miss. That would have been the ultimate slap in the mush.

That push in the pack was so dirty and premeditated. Absolutely no intention other than to put him off balance and wouldn't surprise me at all if this was team orders by leicester coaches, based on a high reward/ low risk strategy (Kane is not getting these calls). I think it warranted a red card in all honestly. The intent to deny a goal scoring opportunity with no intention to play the ball.

Are you familiar with the foul system in basketball, if you are fouled and still score, your score counts plus you get a free shot. If anything he deserved the goal AND a penalty kick.

If VAR intervened and gave the offender a red card, and kept on doing it, this shit would be stamped out quick

Kane will watch that performance yesterday and think fuck and for the first time may well think he needs to leave
This was my thought process too. I first thought, wow those new signings will wonder what they've walked in to.. then, and Kane will start wanting to walk out of..

As much as I like Poch, we cannot lose Kane. Would break my heart

Mine too. But it does feel like we'll miss the opportunity to gain glory and success with our talisman.

Being honest if I was Kane I'd be looking to move if this season ends in typical fashion. I do hope it won't be the case but I wouldnt begrudge him a move. I said the same for Eriksen last season. The project looks to have failed and timings have been off.

But we will get there. Some day.

Harry Kane admits Tottenham have no excuses to call on any more following a "disappointing" start to their campaign.
Spurs have won just two of their eight games this season, and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night by League Two Colchester as their search for a first trophy since 2008 goes on.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are 10 points behind leaders Liverpool in the Premier League, and also threw a 2-0 lead away at Olympiakos in their opening Champions League group-stage game last week.

In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, Kane says there is no hiding behind Tottenham's poor start, and says they cannot use the inexperience excuse any longer.

"I'd say it's been disappointing, I don't think there's any hiding behind that," he said. "To only win two games out of our first seven is not the standards that we've set in previous years.

"Obviously the two draws at (Manchester) City and Arsenal are not terrible results, but being 2-0 up at Arsenal and drawing does feel like a terrible result.
"We've put ourselves in good positions this season, we just haven't managed to see the game out or find a way to win like we have in previous years.
"It's a disappointing start, but there are plenty of games to turn that around, starting with the game on Saturday [against Southampton]

"[Game management] is something we need to get better at, when we go ahead in games we need to be more confident, to see the game out, whether we drop behind the ball or carry on playing, whatever suits that game.
"We're not inexperienced any more, we're not young any more, the excuses aren't there for us any more. It's down to us players to take responsibility."

While Kane acknowledges Spurs' start to the season has fallen below expectations, he is not ruling out a title challenge, saying: "If this was January or February people would be saying there's no chance of us winning it.
"Obviously it's not the ideal start, but stranger things have happened. You can never rule yourselves out until it's done.

When did Harry Kane last score a hat trick for Spurs? Was it against Southampton on Boxing Day 2017?
