That's absolutely brilliant of the man, really proud to have him in our team and captain of or country...…. shows what an absolute, considerate human being he is.
Mr Markham, also father to Danny, 11 and Ryan, 26, had responded to the abuse by putting his phone number online and challenging trolls to speak to him directly.
He revealed one person did call him but all they did was hurl more abuse his way - and called for the trolls to be banned from every football ground in the country.
How shit has someone's life got to be to get a kick out of phoning someone else up to abuse their disabled 16 year old daughter?
Really happy about that, was absolutely disgusted to hear that she'd received abuse.
And unfortunately for her it’s all played out online for her to read when she’s grown up. Nothing about it is very nice but at least there are some decent people about who have been supportive to her and the family. I just hope the media haven’t intruded into their lives too much. It’s only going to be more stressful for her.
Some people’s lives must be pretty shit to give abuse to a child, disabled or otherwise.

Yeah definitely unfortunate. That's the problem with things online and why I mostly try and avoid social media, positive things that are posted with genuine and harmless intentions can become a subject of completely unwarranted hatred and vile abuse and you literally have no control over just how far that spreads, you have to just watch more and more people most negativity. Without diving off course and going too deep it's what drives so many young people into depression or what gives them suicidal thoughts.
Like you say though, luckily there are still decent people and it's great that Harry and the club have helped out with this situation.
It’s terrible, but it’s one reason why I wouldn’t post anything to do with my children on twitter for the world to see. There’s too many arseholes out there.
One of my best mates has a brother with Down’s syndrome. So I know a little what it’s like for everyone involved. The nice response from Harry, the club and decent people in the country will mean the world to them. The positive experience the family will go through is the only decent thing to come out of it.
