Look if someone wants to bandy about 86m quid I'm more than happy to personally take it if it stops poor old Bayern being puzzled
Would be cutting your nose off to spite your face. He didn’t do this with Eriksen either, so I don’t think he’d do it with Kane.I'll be honest in that Even if Levy were to say this, I don't think Ange accepts it one bit. I think it's all just a bit frustrating for DL because there will have been an awful lot of time and effort put into this, but he doesn't have any power really imo. Yes he could declare that he doesn't play but he's the England captain and arguably our greatest ever player . The fans wouldn't accept it, the media wouldn't accept it, ane the rest of the team wouldn't accept it. It just wouldn't happen.
That kind of seems like a sure fire way for there to be an all out revolt against Levy from all sides. So honestly, I'm for it.I mean there is something the club can do, and that's not play him. It's beyond unlikely, like beyond anything extremely remote. But that is an option.
And they have more holes in their squad than we do.Also Tuchel position at Bayern doesn‘t look 100% stable at the moment…
I’d guess this guy is just inventing a scenario as a result of him not being able to understand why Kane would chang his mind at the last minute and concluding that Levy will be annoyed.Weird phrasing - "Disagreement between Kane and Tottenham"
I wonder if Kane asked for his loyalty bonus, and Levy said no. Otherwise - I am not sure what Kane and Tottenham have to agree to about Kane going to Bayern.
Couldn't agree more. So many posters have no idea how good the players we are being linked to are but still think it's right to move him on for those players. Utter madness imo.God I hope this is true. Even if he leaves on a free next year if we get back into Europa or even the CL we can replace him from a position of strength. Right now “project Kane” sounds like project buy mid-table level players to me!
I think they are now but largely because we've gone this far.I said as much earlier and received only disagrees for it.
I'll repeat it, the club(Levy) are definitely in the process of trying to convince Kane to go.
Levy wouldn't have accepted the fee if this wasn't the case.
Sign a new contract or transfer out.
Don't drag our season down.
I don't think he really thought Levy would accept a bid. He didn't two years ago, so it was all theoretical. It has now become very real. It's a waste of time because if Harry was never completely sure he wanted to go there he could've said so a lot earlier.
Usually when a player wants to move to a super club it's either YES or NO and then it's up to the clubs to negotiate a fee. The player doesn't usually set personal deadlines or get cold feet - if a player really wants to go to a club they are willing to take things down to the last minute of the window to get their move like literally every other big player we've ever sold.
If Harry was ever wavering he (or Charlie) shouldn't have told Bayern he was 100% willing to go there.
I don't the big foreheaded begging nonceI fear for Florian if this doesn't happen.
I imagine those 'two types of deal' were:This is from Prof on COYS regarding the two contracts that were offered to him. I don’t think this is new info so it’s just adding to the current picture really:
I’ve shared what I’m allowed to share. He rejected the two different types of offer we put in front of him. The details are in a post I made earlier this week. I don’t know specifically why he said no. That would be interesting info. I’m hoping to be able to say more later, but that’s not my decision to make. We’ll see.
Fair play, that reads like a transcript.I've always wondered what the contours of the "verbal agreement" were between Kane and Bayern that set this all in motion. Clearly there was some understanding. But was it as simple as "Yeah, no, obviously I'll play for you"? Or were there actual terms, like years, wages, and release clauses? I could see Kane and BM leaving it open, but Kane now balking at the idea of committing to 5 years in the Bundesliga. I also thought early on that given Kane's evident fandom of Tom Brady, he would take a cue from Brady and other American sport stars like Lebron James, who signed 1-2 year contracts during the latter half of their careers. With their fortunes already made, that gave them the most control over what they really wanted, a place on a competive squad.
Yeah could be. But then he's still making everyone do a merry dance for no reason.I don't think he really thought Levy would accept a bid. He didn't two years ago, so it was all theoretical. It has now become very real.
It's from a Bayern source I wouldn't take too much notice.Weird phrasing - "Disagreement between Kane and Tottenham"

I think he posted a couple of options - short term, and long-term.I imagine those 'two types of deal' were:
1) Not enough
2) Lower than that
You don't need to be ITK to know why. I love Spurs to the core but if I were Kane I wouldn't be signing a deal until I was sure I knew the direction the club were going and that Ange was the real deal. Absolutely no chance whatsoever. Especially when I knew I had the choice of pretty much every team in the world in a years time. This is from Prof on COYS regarding the two contracts that were offered to him.
