I'm not reading too much into that interview. Just vintage Sky fishing for a story.

You can see by his performances he is 100% committed again. It's great to see and is all I ask for when he pulls the shirt on.

Makes sense to just focus on the job at hand and re-evaluate his contract situation in the summer. If we make CL I think he signs a new deal. Even if we fall short, if Conte stays and is actually backed he probably stays another season too. We have no idea if anyone would be seriously in for him this summer either.

Harry knows Spurs, he was as unenthusiastic about our prospects under Nuno as the rest of us. He's probably just as skeptical of Levy/ENIC as the rest of us. He's clearly optimistic about us under Conte, just wants to see how the next few months pan out.

Edit: Finally I think he's right to try and put pressure on the board to back Conte. He holds a lot of sway with Levy.
bang on.

I really don't see where he goes in the summer if we didn't make CL. Look at the strikers about to move this summer:

Mbappe, Haaland, Vlahovic, Lukaku (potentially?), Dybala, Lewandowski

You could even throw Ronaldos name into that mix....

I don't think any club will approach us for Kane, knowing we will throw £120m at them before they even finish the question. It just feels like the ship has sailed for him now, unless City don't go for one of the above, which I would be shocked at, surely they will go for one.

An uninterested, unmotivated player is no good to anyone. If a player doesn't want to be here then i'd rather they go. And that includes Harry.

He has shown that he does want to be here still (if only for the short term) which is fine with me. There is no better striker in world football IMO, although selling him won't phase me either - We've played differently whenever he's been out injured.

It would be wonderful to see him commit his future to us and sign a contract extension and we build from there.

The passion he showed after the Leicester game, showed me he’s still got that ? in his belly, which only bodes well for us.

(that & his performance on the night Ofc)

My feeling is that he wants to play for a team in the Champs League, that can credibly challenge for trophies

If we invest in the team and finish top 4, I think he'll want to stay, unless City make an aggressive play for him. I doubt he'd want to go anywhere else.

if we don't get top 4, he might well agitate (albeit less publicly) again

Seems fair enough. He needs to do his job though and start putting some of his chances away.

He is scoring albeit he is missing easier chances than we are used to but a goal and an assist against Leicester is heading in the right direction.

I actually think like it looked like something has shifted in his mindset. He is not longer accepting that he is still at the club but actually embracing it.

Can't remember which game it was, but not too long ago, he was put through by Skipp (was a lovely through ball) for a one on one with the 'keeper that 99% of the time we'd all be certain would be tucked away.

Unfortunately it wasn't tucked away. We need that 0.1% to come back to him.

Maybe after not trying too hard, he’s now trying too hard?!?!

Just needs to lash a few in.

Everyone who is saying he looked fitter etc, it’s because he had a week’s rest. He’s always better once he’s had a little break.
A rare rest during international break coming up too. Kane at his best for the final months will be huge.

If he continues in the vain of form he's in for the rest of the season I'll change my vote. Still in camp Fuck Harry Kane though.

But he was excellent on Wednesday night. A goal v Chelsea and a win would really give us another lift and I reckon we could go on a run to finish third if we can keep feeding him and he keeps scoring. Coupled with Sonny back after the international break we should be in a good place.

Once again, thought Kane was excellent. We desperately need players with his composure and ability to both see and pick a pass in the opponent's half. Worked hard throughout and was unlucky to have an arguably legitimate goal ruled out.

What about the other 0.90%? ?
