That is the first interview for years that I can remember that Harry has genuinely looked happy at being a yid!
Being a yid ,being a yid the thing most is being a yid.

Felt like we got our Harry back last night. Not just in terms of performance, but he was emotionally "with it" when there have been times this season he has been completely disinterested, particularly under NES.

I'm still disappointed he never came out and gave us a bit of clarity in regards to his situation after the window closed, but I'll take this rejuvenated Kane under Conte than the Kane in the first half of the season, that's for sure.

Push on, get us 15 league goals, and all is forgiven.

He looked pretty rapid out there tonight, shocked me a bit.

top performance..

COYS

He looked more agile and definitely quicker and certainly fitter. I would just hold fire on that as the Leicester defenders make me look like Usain Bolt - theyre slow as fuck as turning circles of the QE2.

Kane was brilliant apart from his sky rocket into row Z which was so so unlike him

It was strange in the second half... he got the ball in good position and needed that runner or two - he was pretty much instinctively looking out for Son then realised he wasnt there, so he ended up taking speculative shots. It was only when Bergwijn came on that he had that runner which bought the best out of Kane - that pass was inch perfect - enough weight to get past the defence and allow Bergwijn in but not too much weight that the keeper would have got to it.

He looked actually fast tonight. Like Kane of 3/4 years ago fast. Can’t remember the last time I saw him run behind a high line and stretch them so much. He was beating midfielders to balls and off the dribble too. Brilliant performance
Massively Fit and fully motivated make a huge diff. Love to see it.

It was great to see peak Harry return last night, he was fantastic, but he should have had more goals!

Think last summer may have been Kane's 'Gerard to Chelsea' moment.

It looked like he was gone and for a while it was whether or not he'd stay. I think he'll stay for his career now.

Conte will give him thay feeling we can compete and he'll sign a contract.
It's easy to understand why Kane got disillusioned with the club last summer - we all were. The problem for me was the way he and his brother went about it. But if he continues to put in performances like this and eventually signs a new contract, I guess there's most likely place in my heart for forgiveness.

Agree. Someone needs to take him to one side and tell him his free kicks are shocking though.
Hope this ages well and he scores against the chavs from one. ??

He is still going to be looking at things and thinking we need to improve big time, but he is within the club and knows far more what’s going on than we do. I want him to sign a new deal without any release clause, how realistic that wish is I don’t know. But I want him to finish his career with us.

If I were Harry I’d maybe say “I’ll sign when Conte signs”. Up the ante. Hopefully both happens and he plays out his career at Spurs as a legend with a 22/23 premier league title and champions league to show for it!

Everyone who is saying he looked fitter etc, it’s because he had a week’s rest. He’s always better once he’s had a little break.

still seems to suggest he’s only committed to this season
My feeling is that he wants to play for a team in the Champs League, that can credibly challenge for trophies

If we invest in the team and finish top 4, I think he'll want to stay, unless City make an aggressive play for him. I doubt he'd want to go anywhere else.

if we don't get top 4, he might well agitate (albeit less publicly) again

Didn't like the sound of that interview but will be interesting to see the full interview as Sky could have left some details out that suggest he does want to stay, anyway disappointed by what i read after feeling we got our Harry back at the Leicester game, now he has refilled the Kane wants to leave brigade in the media's pistols!!

As long as he puts in performances like Wednesday night, what's to worry about?

He'll either end up signing a new contract at a club that he's helped to qualify for CL football, or He'll get a big money move to a different club, hoping that will provide him with the titles he claims to want.

As long as he's performing for us in the here & now, that's all we need to concern ourselves with.

And fair enough. He will see who we sign in Jan, how we finish this season are we in CL etc and who we plan to sign in summer.

He's not going to commit his LT future just yet but its clear as day he's happy as larry again under Conte and can see that the squad are all pulling in the same direction now and that with such a world class manager if we add 3-5 good signings we could be a force to be reckoned with again and win trophies.

All good.

I'm not reading too much into that interview. Just vintage Sky fishing for a story.

You can see by his performances he is 100% committed again. It's great to see and is all I ask for when he pulls the shirt on.

Makes sense to just focus on the job at hand and re-evaluate his contract situation in the summer. If we make CL I think he signs a new deal. Even if we fall short, if Conte stays and is actually backed he probably stays another season too. We have no idea if anyone would be seriously in for him this summer either.

Harry knows Spurs, he was as unenthusiastic about our prospects under Nuno as the rest of us. He's probably just as skeptical of Levy/ENIC as the rest of us. He's clearly optimistic about us under Conte, just wants to see how the next few months pan out.

Edit: Finally I think he's right to try and put pressure on the board to back Conte. He holds a lot of sway with Levy.
