Harry Kane is NOT going F’ng anywhere this summer! Certainly not to any PL side! My F’ng nads on the line here! From what I am hearing from within#PissOffNotHappening. Think of Modric to Chavs. DL pissed off I hear! And all right to be. F’ng SSN & other BS outlets
He has no right to be pissed off at anyone but himself. He caused this. The club can take their unimpressed bullshit and shove it where the sun dont shine.

Exactly. Rather than be pissed off at SSN, why doesn't Levy get pissed off with the fact that Kane wants to leave in the first place and do some self reflection?

This "uncomfortable" viewing for Spurs fans will most likely tally with what we've heard from ITK and the BBC rather than with what we have heard from Sky et al. Highly unlikely that Harry will have said openly, in a Sky interview, that he wants to leave Spurs.
One day after announcing England squad for Euro, he's captain so I bet this interview will be about tournament with "uncomfortable" part for Spurs with Kane saying he's disappointed about this season

We should loan him to Bayern for a season and get him to sign a contract extension. Job done everyone is happy.

Thanks for the info, Herc.

Couldn't give two shits about Levy being pissed off, he has no right to be, imo.

The thing is it already is. Would spending £150m+ make it that much better when they could buy cheaper?

It's all hypothetical, but... I don't think City would see having a strong team as a reason not to try and be stronger. (That feels more like a Levy approach :troll: ). What they'd get from him isn't just the on-field aspect, where he is a homegrown, Premier League proven, elite level goalscorer but the off-field elements as well - England captain, star, clean image etc. If you think about the English talent that that they don't already have and would be worth buying it's pretty much just Kane or Grealish. As much as they might not need a striker, they definitely don't need another attacking midfielder, and all the defenders are shite.

This is a bit of a misnomer when it comes to players like Kane - there is not a large market for him in even the best of times. Only a handful of teams in the world could afford him. Those teams are much less affected by COVID than for most teams.

Unfortunately for Levy most of those teams are in England.

On top of that - now is the perfect time to sell Kane to a financially doped team - as that gives Spurs money to buy into a depressed market. It really is the best of both worlds.
Sadly that all makes sense.

If an interview was explosive and revelatory then Sky would just say fuck the embargo and release it. It's not like the FA have any actual leverage over Sky nor can they really restrict access to players/management

Levy hasn't caused this, what are you talking about? Levy recruited Poch, and ITK have stated multiple times that we would have invested more in the squad if not for Poch repeatedly turning down the available options. When things went sour for Poch, he replaced him with Jose who for all his faults was thought to be a trophy-winning manager that Levy hoped would match the club and Kane's trophy-winning aspirations. Through these Kane-era years Levy has built a world class training facility and then a world class stadium, and the club has been in the top 6 of the league and playing Europe every single season.

Levy is far from perfect, but to label Kane's frustrations as Levy's fault isn't entirely accurate.

Kane is ambitious and rightly fucking so.

Under levy we've clearly demonstrated a lack of ambition on the playing side when it really mattered, that critical period were we completely neglected adding and enhancing quality to the squad.

Seriously what the fuck does he expect...

They can be annoyed all they like, but they chose not to go for it when it was there staring us in the face...it was our chance to make that last step up.

Levy and the board only have themselves to blame for this.

Levy is brilliant, commercially off the field so to speak, but his Achilles heel is not knowing when to step back and see the bigger picture on the playing side.

He just can't fucking help himself.

Journalists may have a shit reputation but they don't just plagiarise without verifying stuff independently.

Do you think Hytner is a reporter that would file a Guardian story based on Sky tweets?

Funny you should mention Hytner - who is notorious in the industry for 1: hating Spurs and 2: making shit up about Spurs.

Once these stories begin its inevitable that he's going. In that case, its better he goes now, rather than having a year of limbo. We'll get more money from him now and we can begin re building sooner, rather than jusk kicking the can down the road for 12 months,

Levy bet the family silver on a Portuguese con-man and is now living with the consequences.

This summer could well define his tenure as chairman.
